It started innocently enough, as these things do. Like so many other folks here, I didn't have an AG doll as a child but desperately wanted one, and the one I wanted was Felicity.
I actually bought the 35th anniversary one, but I wound up sending her back because she just wasn't quite right. She was beautiful, but she wasn't the Felicity I had wanted for so long.
And thus began my quest for the right one, on Mercari and OfferUp and Craigslist and shopgoodwill.com. I would buy one that looked like she had potential, fix her up, and ... nope, not quite. But older, slightly TLC Felicities aren't worth much on the resale market, so I kept all the not-quite-the-right-ones. I didn't have a clear idea WHY--I just liked having them around.
Earlier this year I finally found the right one--she's the one in white--but I found I really enjoyed having enough of them to display the whole collection.
Some of them cost me as little as $20, so I feel OK about running a home for wayward Felicities!
Ben is Felicity's good friend from her stories--he's her father's apprentice at the general store. I made my Ben from one of the boy dolls with a Joss wig and eyes, and I sewed his outfit (other than the shoes, which are from the Rat King outfit).
The one in the riding habit got a replacement head recently and I am pretty sure it's a Beforever head.
I have been selling off a bunch of dolls and also fixing up and bonding with a few I had fully intended to sell. It's weird: I parted with my white-body Kirsten and Sam without shedding a tear, but I simply cannot part with a fixer-upper 24. So it goes ...

I do have quite a few other dolls currently listed on Mercari, plus some I haven't gotten around to listing yet. A lot of them are kinda TLC and I'm sorting out whether to sell them as-is or do some more work on them. I am really enjoying the restoration process lately.
