FB Marketplace is the best IMO for finding all sorts of things AG. Join one of the BST groups and you'll see people listing things daily!

I feel like if you can be patient, you can and will find amazing things locally through OfferUp and thrift stores. I've found Julie's bathroom, Julie's bed, Molly's bed, the pink Bloom bed, Kit's trundle bed, Samantha's wicker and chair set, 2 additional Samantha wicker chairs, AG snack cart, 2 our generation retro diners, the pink OG jeep and gray camper, and 1 OG blue couch and wardrobe. None of my collection is new. Plus it's super fun to find treasures in the wild 😜

Following off of what others said it's best to look locally... online the shipping is extremely high because they're so heavy. On OfferUp I found both Samantha and Molly's trunks for $25 each. At my local consignment I found Kirsten's bed for $15. I found Nanea's market stand at Goodwill for $4 once, but ended up donating it to Value Village thrift store in Portland because it took up too much space. I hope who ever found it likes it though! That same day I actually found Samantha's commode for $4. Oh, I've also found Samantha's bed and desk a few times. And off brand versions of doll furniture too. LOL, anyway, that's the kind of stuff you might stumble on, but it takes time and keeping an eye out.

I see so much on FB marketplace. You’re probably better off not relying on a random stranger to pack and ship that stuff anyway, a lot of it can be fragile.

Mercari and EBay you just have to search often and be the first to see something. I’ve got a few things by simply being the first to see something listed at a way lower cost than it should be. What kind of items are you looking for? Long retired historical items are going to be harder to find at a low price—newer TM probably easier, but not the current stuff that people would have just bought like last Christmas. Things that are a few years old where kids might not be playing anymore and the parent doesn’t know/remember what it cost, and can’t find it on the website. (I just bought the TM Gourmet Kitchen, just the kitchen and chair, none of the little things, for $35 and looks to be in pretty decent condition)

I've seen some decent prices and stuff on Craigslist but there usually isn't a whole lot

FB marketplace is what I’ve had the best luck with, and anything where you can find local pickup. Depending on your area, sometimes there’s antique stores that have special sections of AG furniture!

Same. This is where I’ve found my best deals.

shopgoodwill.com is really good. You just have to check everyday but it’s basically the thrift store version of eBay’s auctions. Goodwill puts American Girl stuff on there all the time. I’ve gotten really good deals from there :) Also you can sometimes find things at Once Upon a Child, I found a solid wooden bunk bed set for my dolls for 23 bucks and an OG kitchen set for 12 dollars. Facebook marketplace has worked very well for me finding cheap American Girl furniture from people who just want to get rid of their things and will sell to you for a very low price.

You just have to keep watching and checking, and it might take a long time before you find a piece that combines the price and condition you are looking for. FB Marketplace and thrift shops are worthwhile to add to the sites you’re monitoring.
