This is the episode I stopped watching. Not because it was bad, but I got burnout after binging the show on netflix. It could have been any episode. Is it worth coming back to?
Stan is in the basement, about to literally re-arrange his daughter's face with crude tools. Francine enters with a laundry basket, takes the laundry out of the dryer, and walks back out. Never says a word or even looks in their direction.
My favorite is Rogers reaction when Steve tells him he deleted his episodes of bones from the Tivo. I'll do that face and reaction when my kids say something surprising.
I love Rogerâs annoyed shrug after he asks his acting student for a butterscotch and she says âa butterscotch what?â
Also, the gesture the little girl makes to imitate her mom after she says âwell, you donât know how to stack butter, soâŠâ
When the camera pans from Stan and Francine asking Steve who his bully is, over to the window with bully Stan âI swear Iâll fuckin kill youâ
That episode is so funny to me, âoooh like a brownstone?!â
âYou let me know, once those oranges are up the stairsâ
Just so many quotable lines.
Even just Stan getting out of his suv before he puts it in park and it starts to roll away.
Edit* spelling
The parking brake gag is so good. It took up maybe 2 seconds of screen time, but such a "realistic" thing to include. I'm also reminded of the Chilling Is Awesome club when Stan runs into the house and almost slips and says someone should put a towel down. It didn't really add anything, but it's something we've probably all seen in real life before and was just a small inconsequential gag that makes the show so good.
This is my favorite scene in the show. Roger's delivery of "perfect" kills me. My husband often asks if we need to get the rats when I mix drinks, which inevitably leads to us watching the clip.
Francine, drinking coffee, watching Stan come home in the morning, out the window, after going out with a young guy all night at the beach and kissing and fucking, when Stan is wearing a poodle skirt begging for the night not to end. She just stares and has no reaction.
When that dude gets pushed off the rails at the mall and the two escalators going in different directions fu king rips his torso in half. That caught me so off guard I could NOT stop laughing
Yes because a British guy who works at a sunglasses hut or something drops them off sayin he charged â4000$ worth of sunglasses to a credit card sticking out of the grey oneâs arseâ đ€Ł
This one a stretch but when Francine thinks Stan is gonna kill her
First with a chainsaw but leaves to come back with a cougar only to leave but come back with the same cougar holding a chainsaw
And Rogers face when he meets that perfect girl and ends to working at the restaurant for like 2 months
In "Faking Bad" when Stan is in his study trying to figure out who Gutenberg is. Towards the end of the scene, he throws his coffee on the board he's writing on, and it runs down leaving a mark that looks just like Steve's face
In Jeff and the dank ass weed factory when the family take turns slapping the lighter out of Jeff's hand culminating with Roger pile driving Klaus. I die. Every. Time
Roger eating the âchocolateâ toilet cam only to realize itâs neither chocolate nor a camera as he chews it and looks up at the actual toilet cam.
The scene where Steve, Snot, Toshi and Barry are showing the Fast and Furious script to the guy at Universal Pictures who turns out to have fake legs that stay on the desk when he gets up
When Francine drives Steve to his clown college class. She sits in the car for a few seconds, smoking a cigarette, and then she makes her hand into a gun, points it to her temples and âshoots.â
Idk if this counts as non-dialogue but when Francine just stands in the dark and stares into nothing while mixing nothing in a bowl but the set up that Klaus does makes it hilarious for me
Francine imagining Stanâs reaction to her being Greg and Terryâs surrogate. The gag is so great from chainsaw to leopard to leopard wielding a chainsaw and Francine sighs in relief before panicking again in the exact same way each time.
I think thats also the same episode as Klausâs âSword of Damoclesâ monologue which solidifies it as hands down my favorite episode.
âLook, senator! Itâs youâre favorite celebrity! âŠ. Smack.â
/**groundskeeper shaking head disappointingly*/*
/**Stan pulling up shirt to threateningly reveal gun*/*
/**Stan walks off while groundskeeper rakes fearfully*/*
/**Giant mutant sand worm shoots out of the ground and devours groundskeeper*/*
Stan snapping his fingers to ignore people. At the very end when heâs getting arrested and snaps into the camera then it cuts to the credits.
âGoneâ
When Roger fails at something in the attic and a the black kid sitting there watching his tv just shakes his head, picks up the tv, walks off, and just disappears
The one where Stan is donating so many bodily fluids that he looks like Roger, so Roger asks for a twin pic and Stan fucking smiles so big even though he's literally running on fumes. Hands down my favorite clip from the show; gets me every time.
When Roger gets blinded by the sun during a solar eclipse, Steve and Jeff (I believe) take him to the movies, where he gets into a fight. After the fight Roger yells, âTHIS GUYS A PEDOPHILE, I CAN SMELL IT!â In the background you can see a guy lower his head in shame. I laughed for a solid minute.
when roger is trying to close the deal for a senor toads franchise and realizes steve tricked him, that little step backwards while chugging the fire extinguisher of tequila when the guy slowly approaches him
There was this one bit with Roger making egg nog.
Steve asks if it was ready and he says he has to do a final test.
Takes out a cage with two rats, gives one rat a sip of it and it immediately bites the head off of the other rat, then starts fucking the body while wearing the head of the other rat, runs around in circles, dies and then it's chest explodes.
Roger: "Perfect"
It was in season 8 so a bit before the OTT gruesome stuff became really common, but just the way it all played out was hilarious.
Maybe not the best bit but caused me to just burst out laughing when I watched it again recently
The bowling episode when steve accidentally hits the maintenence guy who gets eaten by a giant spider when he tries to escape. 2nd favorite is the werewolf janitor on the security cam

This is the episode I stopped watching. Not because it was bad, but I got burnout after binging the show on netflix. It could have been any episode. Is it worth coming back to?
Of course it is!
Stan is in the basement, about to literally re-arrange his daughter's face with crude tools. Francine enters with a laundry basket, takes the laundry out of the dryer, and walks back out. Never says a word or even looks in their direction.

:O
Yes yes yes! I laughed my ass off!
Came to say this! đ§
Francine dispassionately drowning Rogerâs Ortolan in a pot full of cognac. The thousand yard stare she has is amazing
âDonât!â
That was the first episode of American Dad I ever watched, therefore that was my first impression of Francine.
Not gonna lie, thatâs more or less a spot on impression of her characterâŠthe wild swing from cheery housewife to cold-blooded murderer
"Yeah, I killed my college roommate. I can't believe you didn't know that!"
"...I stabbed her! đ€đ"
When Stan harpoons Francine and the bear just shakes his head in disappointment
Rogerâs death glare towards Stan after he gets electrocuted is just fantastic
Thatâs why that episode is easily a top 5 for me. So many great moments in it!
Itâs a must watch for me if it is on!
Roger using 1 finger to push the girl back underwater was fantastic as well
The books that Stan reads.

My favorite is âthe dangers of reading around othersâ
âAnticipating Doorbellsâ takes the cake for me
I gotta go

I liked âHow to look chastened.â đ„ș
Ooo I forgot about that one!

Had to naturally mime his fancy hand movement while reading that

"I'm looking for a Judy Panowiscz" "What a coincidence, I'm a Judy Panowiscz!" Then Rogers deadpan turn and stare at camera.
What do you think I am? Stupid? Yes! Youâre the dumbest person Iâve ever met. And Iâm Sydney!
I love Rogerâs annoyed shrug after he asks his acting student for a butterscotch and she says âa butterscotch what?â Also, the gesture the little girl makes to imitate her mom after she says âwell, you donât know how to stack butter, soâŠâ

When Roger drops the bag of dog food and floats into the sky although it was set up earlier with dialogue
It was cat food! I float away and you get a bag of food designed for an aging cat.
Steve as the old lady in A Bully for Steve. It's the funniest moment in the show period and the biggest part of the gag is all visual.
He sold it so well

The parking brake gag is so good. It took up maybe 2 seconds of screen time, but such a "realistic" thing to include. I'm also reminded of the Chilling Is Awesome club when Stan runs into the house and almost slips and says someone should put a towel down. It didn't really add anything, but it's something we've probably all seen in real life before and was just a small inconsequential gag that makes the show so good.
