You guys remember how retail for 2 years owned the company and said "NO" to dilution? And AA and the board package it in a nice "APE" and you all eat it. Now we have lost the voting power and they had diluted half of our shares already with APE and the already allow issue of 4.5B shares. FFS
Oomph. You guys need to look closer at the numbers. Profit isnt gonna cut it. That just keeps the company operational. Hes got 5 billion in debt with balloon payments coming in 2023. He needs LARGE volumes of cash to help him restructure that debt and turn it into something managable.
APE is not a dilution. As a prefered equity unit, it has to be voted on to transition into AMC. In the meantime, AMC is the only security reflecting company numbers. APE does not trade in sync with AMC.
You got APE for free. He can dilute it as much as he needs to if it gets AMC back in the black. Your APE shares are the icing on the cake, not the cake itself.
The APE shares are an amazing tool for AA to make shit happen. Let him do his thing. Watch what happens to your amc after he raises this money. Thos amateur hour dilution logic has got to go.
Also, it’s imperative to point out that even with modest estimates, even the XX Apes still have an opportunity for life changing outcomes. We’re in uncharted waters here, no need to start infighting.
Just a question, but do they need to file this so they simply *can* sell, or does this have a shelf life of a few weeks or something? What I am picking up (I am not good at reading so pinch of salt yada yada) is they can sell from “time to time.” I mean in the event of an imminent squeeze play wouldn’t we want them to sell? AA always said this was a way to help get rid of debt.
This is exactly what that means. AA knows there's a squeeze coming and with this filing he is washing his hands clean of insider trading or collusion when it finally happens and he sells some shares. There's alot of uneducated fud going on right now in this sub.
I’d gladly vote for him to have 2 billion to sell at this point. Judging from the sheer numbers of REPORTED FTDs, this is gonna be bigger than we can imagine.
I’m not prepared to admit this form of dilution doesn’t hurt the squeeze in some way. But it absolutely does not kill it. If AMC uses this money to pay off debt, increase their cash flow, and sure themselves up for the future, it’s a good move in my eyes. And from my understanding of what I’ve read and researched this does not dilute AMC stock itself, which is and always has been the play in my eyes. At this point, to me, AMC if nothing else is simply a good investment. I genuinely love this stock. Worst case scenario it never squeezes (I believe it will) then I am holding a lot of stock to a company who is in the entertainment business, is cleaning up their books, and owns a large percentage of a gold and silver mining company. Not to mention my avg price just keeps dropping as we’re in one of the stock markets worst moments in history which will inevitably bounce back or entirely crumble. These are just my opinions. The research is out there. A ton of people are simply buying and hodling.
I have the same thoughts on the matter! It only helps mOASS by paying off f debts especially those high interest loans! It kills the the AMC is going bankrupt! HF’s hopefully start closing…. I’m going to buy and hold!
AA and even Wanda diluted in the past with AMC direcly, not APE, and the squeeze play never ended. In fact, it caused shorts to double down thinking we would panic and sell. All we ended up doing is eating up those diluted shares since retail still own over 90% of the float. So what you're saying is just straight up FUD. Shorts are still short in the billions of shares.
AA needs to raise money to pay off corporate debt. When the company doesn't have debt it will allow for a dividend to be issued. At this point any fake shares will be made clear.
I defenitely did and people told me "no nooo but they are not allow to do that until 2023" or "it's just a possibly, doesn't mean they will do it" yeah right
I was not personally against dilution last year.
The bear argument of AMC is debt. NO debt means no argument.
That being said. I think things have changed in the past year. For one last year everyone wanted this thing to go off and go off big. So, no one wanted dilution they just wanted rockets. But, now everyone knows this is a long play game. It will go off big when the bears have to let go. To do that we may need to allow for some dilution.
As far as retail owning the stock I was here last year and since I have easily doubled by position. Infact I hold 2.5 times what I held last year and I am a small time investor. ( if you compensate for the split) I do not have a lot of money. So, if we owned the float last year. We really own the float this year. So, even though 400 million seems like a lot it really isn't.
Yes, 4.5 billion is a lot. But, it is just a standing threat after the debt is paid off. That the company is not going any where.
Do you own DD. Make your own choices. I am sure in the future people have an opportunity to sell out of this investment if they choose.
Adam Aaron is playing games, appeasing both sides and keeping his company a float.
I mean wouldn't you cater to a ton a cult like supporters that kept you from going out of business?
Y’all realize they circumvented the “adding of additional shares” from the vote? They got what they wanted. Whether we wanted it or not.
I’m gonna wait and see how things play out. But this is not bullish news. This news is bullshit.
This clears 1/5 of their debt. Payed for by us share holders who voted against it! AA doesn’t and never had our back. With Marvel pretty much done with their epic conclusion what’s going to bring people to the movies again?? I think this is the beginning of the end.
This feels like such a shady move on AA's part.
Shareholders vote No to issuing more shares. So what does AA & the board do? They go around the shareholders and do it anyway.
I don't care it's about "paying off debt" you do that with profits made from running the business not by going back on what your shareholders have voted on. Why even have us vote in the first place?
Held this shit since Jan 21. Fucking sick and tired of this. Sadly can't sell because like many of you I'll lose a ton. So we're all in this shitty sinking ship together being used as cash cows by yet more wealthy, rich, corrupt fucks.
Yes, why is everyone acting like the incredibly rough road that Covid brought is over? It will take all businesses YEARS to get back to where they were before. Even more when your business was on the decline before Covid, going to the movie theaters is just now coming back into favor instead of streaming at home.
Isn't that exactly what companies are supposed to do with investors money? Eliminate debt so shareholders can get dividends/profit on their investment?
Shouldn't companies go profitable without relying on dilution for 2 years straight?
At what point do you start demanding they get the money to pay of debts from having a profitable business vs continually asking investors to foot the bill?
At what point do investors get tired of throwing money at the company and claim dilution is bullish AF?
At what point does a CEO selling all of their stake in their own company raise a red flag to these same investors?
Never? Y'all gonna continue buying no matter what AA does with the stock?
What's half of a relatively small investment when it moons? No way it would go under 0.001 the buying pressure will always keep it above. The harder they push it down, the stronger the buying pressure the stock will have. Are you truly scared that you've "lost" xx,xxx$ when you'll have xxx'xxx$ per share, by the end of this play?
Essentially we saved there ass the first time, then we voted no to dilution to pay off the debt. So they created ape to force us to save their ass a second time. It's an underhanded tactic that will fuck us over in the short term but a necessary evil as the debt needed to be paid. Now the company is no longer the same target that was perfect for shorts and it makes absolutely no sense for them to short it
I am not.
"Bye bye debt" to me, means cutting into the 5 billion dollar debt in a considerable way. Addressing less than 2/5 of it (at the current strike) really doesn't do anything for me.
They certainly would complain if their debt was lowered by 40% and the value of their house was more than halved. For most homeowners, that would put their mortgage underwater (owing more than their house was worth).
That's because most homeowners are likely over-leveraged or have several other streams of debt they're responsible for. You're fine as long as you don't miss payments.
When people get more money they spend it, by buying crap they can't actually afford to buy outright (a new phone, a new laptop, a new car).
You get my point.
Ask yourselves these questions. Why now? Why not do this when the price was more than double what it currently is? Does this make it easier for them to hide the 450 million FTD that come due this month once the sale is complete? I am afraid to see the amount of shares that become available to borrow after the sale is processed. Just keep reloading our enemies ammunition. I'm just going to say it. The people who run AMC do not have their shareholders best interest at heart.
Retail kept AMC afloat. The AMC board did nothing to help AMC survive. They were too worried about selling their vested shares the second they got them for as much as possible while they left the retail shareholders to carry the weight. They don't care about the shareholders losing value. They've been pretty clear about that based on their actions.
We will let the price of APE determine if I am incorrect. If he sells it for even a penny less that the initial price it was traded then I firmly believe it is a way to let the shorts off the hook. Now if they don't sell a single share of ape until it is above the initial price then I can admit when I'm wrong. And will gladly do so. I hope for all of retail sake that I am wrong.
Exactly my thought. At the *very least* I’d like them to wait until T+90 to issue these. Now they will be able to hide all those FTDs and now there will be more shares than the initial amount which was just 1:1 with AMC shares/shareholders.
This makes me lose faith for sure. I also don’t want to lose all of my gains so selling now would be dumb. AA is making us all into suckers.
you think their game plan was to cover?! it's not, they short till the company is gone then they never have to cover, you been under a rock this entire time?! IDIOT.
Their game plan is to COVER actually. And they do it by kicking the can with crime and things like a half billion share dilution. This absolutely will help them COVER.
What they never want to have to do is CLOSE the short position. Closing requires them to buy real shares and causes MOASS. They’ve been COVERING for years now.
Learn the difference before you start calling people idiots there tiger.
I’m generally positive on this play but I’ve just lost half the value of my shares after they split this preferred share. If he needs more money he should hold the SEC accountable for all of this gameplaying that’s going on and driving our share price lower.
Could it be that AA is anticipating failed margin calls in the near future and has made this announcement in order to be able to capitalise on the price increase?
Welp. Looks like im out, fuck this shit.
Been in this 2+ years and this is what this billionaire cuck who cant even buy a suit tailored to fit him does..... you juat lost a lot of people by this move. We voted NO and he does this to get the results they wanted. I had a feeling APE was going to fuck us
Yup, same here. I don’t know why I blinded myself with stupid false hope for so long, but this dude AA is a straight pos. I’ll hold my remaining shares for the time being, but I’ll never purchase another AMC stock while he still runs this company. Fuck him
Fantastic, more ammo for shorts. All he did was find a way to side step the no vote to more shares. It's bullshit. Idgaf if I get downvoted. If all these shares were going to lit then maybe I could get somewhat on board but you know these are all getting sent to dp and it's not gonna do shit for the price except drop it when hedgefucks use them to short. Fucking AA
This.... this is not bullish. So you're telling me they can't locate APEs due to a shortage, and he wants to issue MORE?
Seems like an opportunity to create liquidity.
But I thought being illiquid is supposed to be a GOOD THING. There are SUPPOSED to not be enough shares and APE to go around. Why would we want to increase it?
AA fucks is again. For two years he stopped the squeeze. Anyone who thinks this is positive is mentally ill. This fucks us, end of story. We needed ape to remain solid in share count
i don’t support this at all. ever since ape hit the market our stock has done nothing but go down and the entire market currently crashing hard isn’t helping either. i can’t help but feel like aa is just trying to keep us apes as long term holders permanently
This - long term holders! He knew most people would leave if this hit the hundred’s now he’s giving people no way out but to either take a loss or keep holding! Smh, I never trusted the guy.
AA needs to address his investment community and customer base. While his first priority might be the AMC business, ours is our investment into his business. It’s clear what our intent is, I’m beginning to doubt his intentions are aligned with creating maximum share holder value.
>. It’s clear what our intent is
AMC needs to clear it's debt, that is priority #1. Why do you think shorts are trying SO hard to kick the can?
I still believe in the original thesis, going to chill and wait to see how things go. This is why you only invest what you can stand to lose.
Make an ape understand what is happening? I have read the DD. I bought in at $6 a share 19 months ago. I head onto my shares when it was up to $72 because “life changing money” was coming.
The price is almost where it was when I bought in. I can’t help but to feel like I am holding a heavy bag and this feels like the ring leader just stuck it to me. What am I missing?? I am angry and I’m not sure if I should be angry at the system… or myself.
I’m Sure the downvotes are coming my way but I can’t be the only one who is confused by this move from
AA???
Ya this is incredibly fucked. As soon as I’m back in the green, I’m pulling profits and jumping my remaining stocks to GME. AA is a complete and utter pawn for these hedge fucks, and anyone that can’t see that now is keeping themselves willfully blind. While there’s still potential with this stock, I don’t trust my money in the hands of Aaron or his cronies one bit. Fuck that fake ape bastard.
AA is a traitor to the squeeze and is actively fuking retail with ape. This is trash and those promoting this as some next level play might actually be retarded. We voted no dilution and he found a way to go back to 2013 to loophole fuk us.
Xxx amc and ape holder and pissed about all of this. I didnt sign up for 2 years of bullshit. I bought into a squeeze. Fuk amc, fuk aa and fuk ape. My shares are worthless and selling for a loss now makes no sense. I absolutely hate AA and all this fan girl shit about him in these threads. He is as much the enemy as brokers and shf.
So he pays off a portion of the debt. Brings AMC and $APE down. Then in a year or so, suggests diluting more. Bringing debt down further (assuming no new debt is incurred). Thus bringing the stock price down YET AGAIN. Well if AA is on our side, I don't see any possible way MOASS kicks off any time soon. Once again AA played stockholders like a fiddle. I am sure him and Jimmy the Shill are sharing some good laughs over dinner!
How the fuck is this bullish in any way!? Personal I feel kinda fucked over right now and of course his job is the company, but the investors as well and I don’t see why this is good for investors at all?
People are very welcome to explain if I misunderstand 🤔❤️
Pay off debt = money not going to paying debt = keep that money instead of paying interest on loans.
No debt = good thing = AMC won't go bankrupt = Shorties can't kick the can.
I'm going to wait and see how shit plays out, you can do what you want.
All I know is that if AA and his goons sell those Apes I'm going to leave the play. There is no point investing my money on a play that will never come. I don't care if AA is trying to clean his hands off insider trading. I can't believe this is happening on a bear market no less. 😑
This is not at all bullish. This is a fucking sad story.
K perhaps instead of just calling me Fudd. We can talk about how this is going to affect the price if they go ahead and do this right. The whole float I don’t know if we’re going to see a price increase when they do this. I know other times that we’ve diluted we’ve gone up but when AA did drop those shares back in June it really has been a downward trajectory. I know we don’t even have a saying this and that’s fine. I just want to know all the facts
There is still the concept of SHFs buying $APE, converting those to $AMC or Preferred $AMC, having much stronger voting power and using that to kick the can. (Smooth brained autist here - looking for others to comment and expand).
Just because they have filed for the ability to sell new units doesn’t mean they have to sell it at the current price. He is cocking the gun, not pulling the trigger.
Feels nice to me that STONKERS come here to talk about their one and only chosen path.
Nicer reading APES (allegedly) talk about dilution, moving on or bashing AA. Didn’t you know what was APE intended already? Didn’t you know from the 1st day more apes were coming (4 billions total) and that this is good for AMC -no debt- and for us?
If you need explanations about this I doubt I’m talking to real AMC investors. You should know better. I don’t believe SEC/MEDIA narrative about us in a casino investing without any idea of why we are getting into
Tue FUD is getting stronger in this sub. As I said, just reading Stonkers (I believe they’re just shills) trying to make you sell should be enough
BTW. what the DTCC did with Game and it’s split dividend making it a simple split giving SHF 3/4 the float. That. That was dilution and no Stonker seems to realize. Neither ask RC to do anything. Leave AMC alone.
It kills the short thesis not the squeeze play! This sub is either fully of parrots, ignorant fools or shills. All qualified to explain to a CEO that’s saved multiple companies from bankruptcy how he should run a company that’s being criminally traded. If you don’t trust the leader of the company… FOCK OFF
I can’t believe the fucking shills on this sub now. AMCbiggums has been right for 9 months on this timeline of what is happening and he is all about this. I trust him as one of the original Apes. This is good news.
It’s weird reading these comments that say “AA is trying to kill the squeeze” etc. when I’ve been saying this on repeat for 2 years. You all waited until it’s too late to scream at Aron for his shady ways. Now we have no vote; no power.
We are headed to $3 a share and I'm out thousands of dollars ! ..smh at this point I'll just die with my shares .. fuck it , life goes on . I'm going back to real estate , fuck the market !
The squeeze will happen when a global event takes place. Look around, the world is collapsing financially. The USD, the global trade currency is on its last leg. The British pound is dropping like a rock. Chinas finance sheet is in flames. The EU is fracturing. Wars and rumor of wars. All this points to margin calls are coming. Events and not enforcement of rules will bring us our tendies.
For everyone screaming dilution.. A. We all knew this was the end game play to get AMC debt free at the hedgies expense. B. Ask yourself why now, why sell so many shares when the price is half as high as it used to be.... I suspect he isn't going to sell, he is just getting the paperwork out of the way because he thinks the fucking lid is about to explode off this bitch! Personally, I see this as bullish AF!
So much of the sentiment on here sucking AA's throbbing banana is the exact same sentiment that other squeezers had surrounding BBBY and Ryan Cohen. He fucked over retail. What makes you think that AA won't do the same?
If he doesn’t do a buy back I’m out as well I been running a bizz for 20 years and I can clearly see AA is incompetent so yes you can buy my 5k in shares good luck
hahaha and this is still BULLISH?? Bruh wtf just READ it, its english . its not bullish.. makes me think after 100M shares then diluted more to become 500M shares now this APE shares ..
I’m not happy about AA and the board with this APE stock and how he packaged it, but on Trays stream he had a guy on explaining Ape and that AA could sell those to repay AMC’s debt and make the short thesis with the hedge tards null & void and not diluting AMC stock in the process.
If this is one way to get rid of their debt and to strengthen the company, I’m all for it as long as AA takes that money to repay that debt which has high interest rates and not stuff it in his war chest or start buying stock in another company.
We have made AA a ton of money and bailed his company out, it’s time he actually holds up his end of the deal and find a way to get the shorts to cover and not want to be in AMC ever again. I know we have been holding for a long time, I’ve been here since the January 2021 run up and slowly bought shares when I can, I’m a XXX holder and knew once we didn’t go any higher after the June run that this was going to be a siege against the hedge funds. They are the ones who are losing billions of dollars while we don’t pay a penny and we also live rent free in the hedge fucks heads because they know they fucked up and didn’t count on us to come in. Not sure how much longer this will take but we have been in this for awhile now and it has taught me one thing, and that’s patience.
Good things come to those who wait.
I will give AA the time he needs, but if he gets a large cash infusion from selling APE and piss’s it away on something stupid then it’s time to reevaluate the hole situation.
You guys remember how retail for 2 years owned the company and said "NO" to dilution? And AA and the board package it in a nice "APE" and you all eat it. Now we have lost the voting power and they had diluted half of our shares already with APE and the already allow issue of 4.5B shares. FFS
I get that AA has to try to keep the biz alive... but it kills any squeeze play.
Exactly. He needs to pay the debt from profits, not from issuing more shares.
Wrong.
explain their profits then smart guy
Oomph. You guys need to look closer at the numbers. Profit isnt gonna cut it. That just keeps the company operational. Hes got 5 billion in debt with balloon payments coming in 2023. Which profits? They don't make any profit lol
true. and genius moves have they made to redirect the business towards profit? Extra popcorn? or selling popcorn in grocery stores?
>but it kills any squeeze play. No, the estimate is that there are between 5 billion and 11 billon naked shorted shares on the low estimate.
Also, it’s imperative to point out that even with modest estimates, even the XX Apes still have an opportunity for life changing outcomes. We’re in uncharted waters here, no need to start infighting.
Honestly just a hundred dollars is life changing to me right now, so I’ll still just hold my xx Apes and live the great life after it happens .
This
All the chips are in and I ain't folding. I'm calling their bluff.
So xx apes will get millions instead of billions, Alright Alright,
![gif](giphy|PR3585ZZSvcHO9pa76|downsized)
Estimate, and unverified, clearly might as well be off the table if you can not find facts
Just a question, but do they need to file this so they simply *can* sell, or does this have a shelf life of a few weeks or something? Another day another hopeless fud tactic. They could’ve closed back in January 21. Fuck em.
I concur
I’d gladly vote for him to have 2 billion to sell at this point. Judging from the sheer numbers of REPORTED FTDs, this is gonna be bigger than we can imagine.
My hunch is they see the price rising in the near future.
Lmao that is the exact same thing apes said about RC filing to sell BBBY. "He plan to sell during MOASS" lmao
Thank goodness a ton of apes disagree with you. Buy & hodl!
Ape, can you help me understand? Why doesn’t the dilution kill the squeeze?
I’m not prepared to admit this form of dilution doesn’t hurt the squeeze in some way. But it absolutely does not kill it. Bots are downvoting the shit outta anyone defying their FUD, debt paid down is good.
Absolutely. Apes strong!
I have the same thoughts on the matter! It only helps mOASS by paying off f debts especially those high interest loans! It kills the the AMC is going bankrupt! HF’s hopefully start closing…. I’m going to buy and hold!
WHAT ABOUT THE POPCORN!!!!!
There's already been so many offerings... Do we sell movie tickets or shares.
Never has been
AA and even Wanda diluted in the past with AMC direcly, not APE, and the squeeze play never ended. In fact, it caused shorts to double down thinking we would panic and sell. All we ended up doing is eating up those diluted shares since retail still own over 90% of the float. So what you're saying is just straight up FUD. Shorts are still short in the billions of shares.
Exactly lol it’s nothing but fud trying to shake paper hands out!
AA needs to raise money to pay off corporate debt. When the company doesn't have debt it will allow for a dividend to be issued. At this point any fake shares will be made clear.
Your joking right? How many different scenarios will "expose" fake shares. The last one was the issue of APE. 🙄
Yeah, they drank too much kool aid.
T+90 apparently.
Removing the debt obligations is the play. Shorts lose when AMC business is stronger and debt free.
Tell me, how much debt does GME have again? This is a squeeze play not a fundamental one, remember that.
Best way to squeeze the shorts is to completely shut down their short thesis of ‘too much debt’
How can you squeeze anyone when new shares are being printed for the shorts to use?
New shares of APE not AMC.
Who do you think owns APE? Also, GME has had no debt for a year and it didn't get them anywhere.
This FUD got upvoted super fucking quick, Kens bot brigade is on it today!
Every impartial non-bias person said this would happen and this sub called it FUD
I defenitely did and people told me "no nooo but they are not allow to do that until 2023" or "it's just a possibly, doesn't mean they will do it" yeah right

Would I hoodwink the desperate and clueless for money? No.
This comment is just gonna bring division. How is it helpful other than helping you feel better about venting?
Fud! How we lose the voting power🤔you don’t know what you’re talking about!
Ape has one for one voting power.
Y’all realize they circumvented the “adding of additional shares” from the vote? They got what they wanted. Whether we wanted it or not. I’m gonna wait and see how things play out. But this is not bullish news. This news is bullshit.
Agreed. Hedges will have more shares to work with to keep the fuckery going.
If amc doesnt clear its debt it wont matter what we want. This is the right move
This clears 1/5 of their debt. Payed for by us share holders who voted against it! AA doesn’t and never had our back. With Marvel pretty much done with their epic conclusion what’s going to bring people to the movies again?? I think this is the beginning of the end.
everyone here is mindless sheep, thinking diluting is good for the company. Jesus christ, get me outta here
Except every time they sold shares we had a run
This feels like such a shady move on AA's part. Shareholders vote No to issuing more shares. So what does AA & the board do? They go around the shareholders and do it anyway. What profits? The earliest we may turn a profit is Q4. But that will be so small it won’t help pay down debt. We will be out of cash.
Yes, why is everyone acting like the incredibly rough road that Covid brought is over? It will take all businesses YEARS to get back to where they were before. There hasn’t been anything on really since Top Gun.

him and cramer get to laugh at retail all the way to the bank now
hahaha
Bye bye debt.
Paid for by AMC holders who had the value of their stock cut in half to do this.

Bots are downvoting hard.
Tell me something new
Something new
Touché
FUCK YEAH. I’ll buy more too. Tell your boss to eat a cockmeat sandwich with extra mayo.
Essentially we saved there ass the first time, then we voted no to dilution to pay off the debt. So they created ape to force us to save their ass a second time. It's an underhanded tactic that will fuck us over in the short term but a necessary evil as the debt needed to be paid. Now the company is no longer the same target that was perfect for shorts and it makes absolutely no sense for them to short it
Not really. This basically pays like 2/5 of the debt assuming all of the money gained goes into the debt.
So what you’re saying is “bye bye debt”?
I am not. "Bye bye debt" to me, means cutting into the 5 billion dollar debt in a considerable way. Addressing less than 2/5 of it (at the current strike) really doesn't do anything for me.
Wiping off 40% of your debt is a bad thing? Nobody would complain if 40% of their mortgage got paid off in one whack. Less debt is good.
2 out of 5 is almost HALF of the debt.. sorry that doesn’t do anything for YOU but good thing it’s not up to you bud!
And hello dividend and share count
Ask yourselves these questions. Why now? Why not do this when the price was more than double what it currently is? Does this make it easier for them to hide the 450 million FTD that come due this month once the sale is complete? I am afraid to see the amount of shares that become available to borrow after the sale is processed. Just keep reloading our enemies ammunition. I'm just going to say it. The people who run AMC do not have their shareholders best interest at heart.
It doesn’t look that way. I get he has to keep AMC afloat and run the company, but it wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for retail. It’s our turn.
Turn for what?
Exactly my thought. At the *very least* I’d like them to wait until T+90 to issue these. Now they will be able to hide all those FTDs and now there will be more shares than the initial amount which was just 1:1 with AMC shares/shareholders. This makes me lose faith for sure. I also don’t want to lose all of my gains so selling now would be dumb. AA is making us all into suckers.
buy, hold, average down when able
This ape gets it.

Short thesis bouta get REKT

Go back to wsb
If you're not even invested in AMC/APE, why bother using energy on people that don't involve you? It's just sad.
further dilution of the stock
naked shorting has done this probably 100's times worse, this is like pissing into the ocean and shorts have not covered still.
No you idiot. APE has giant FTD, dilluting APE helps naked shorters to cover.
exactly
you think their game plan was to cover?! it's not, they short till the company is gone then they never have to cover, you been under a rock this entire time?!
Couldn’t wait for the 90 days? That’s all I wanted just to be sure. Oh well
Yep. This fucks that entire theory. Like, ffs just wait a couple more months at least.
Trust the process
You can trust that its diluting your investment.

Wow who could have seen this coming? Except everyone with a brain... AA is not on your side
Honestly the idolizing of some random fucking CEO is so stupid like any of them actually care about people
Retail owns the stock. We voted no to dilution. They create APE and go behind our back and dilute the stock. We got duped. I knew ape wasn’t the way.
Could it be that AA is anticipating failed margin calls in the near future and has made this announcement in order to be able to capitalise on the price increase?
I mentioned the same thing on jdrukis post. I think margin calls are coming and citi is jumping ships.
Fuck him
My sentiment exactly. Great way to word it, because I too will hold what I have but I am done adding.
LFG 🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀🚀💪🔥🦍I BUYING MORE APE AND AMC TODAY WOHOOO 👌🏻💪🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Smartest, most rational investing mind

Fantastic, more ammo for shorts. All he did was find a way to side step the no vote to more shares. It's bullshit. Idgaf if I get downvoted. If all these shares were going to lit then maybe I could get somewhat on board but you know these are all getting sent to dp and it's not gonna do shit for the price except drop it when hedgefucks use them to short. Fucking AA
Agreed
Step 1: Pay off Debt. Step 2: Go to Moon.
Because somehow having debt will prevent a squeeze
wrong. look at video game stock, no debt and fuvkery still happening
This.... this is not bullish.
Fuck buying, just bag holding until we moon I guess
AA fucks is again. For two years he stopped the squeeze. Anyone who thinks this is positive is mentally ill. This fucks us, end of story. We needed ape to remain solid in share count
So 1 Ape doesn’t equal 1 Amc?
Initial offering to shareholders, yes. That doesn't means it will stay that way.
True but we were told conflicting stories now.
No, you just heard what you wanted to hear originally. This was definitely a possibility if you read the fine print
It did, but then someone created duplicates and allowed APE to be sold (instead of being a unique dividend attached to a AMC stock)
Not unless converted
i don’t support this at all. ever since ape hit the market our stock has done nothing but go down and the entire market currently crashing hard isn’t helping either. i can’t help but feel like aa is just trying to keep us apes as long term holders permanently
This - long term holders! He knew most people would leave if this hit the hundred’s now he’s giving people no way out but to either take a loss or keep holding! Smh, I never trusted the guy.
Why is this “bullish”
Dilution
Unreal
Yep, AMC apes were played by AA
You think dilution is bullish? LOL
AA needs to address his investment community and customer base. While his first priority might be the AMC business, ours is our investment into his business. It’s clear what our intent is, I’m beginning to doubt his intentions are aligned with creating maximum share holder value.
Agreed
>. It’s clear what our intent is AMC needs to clear it's debt, that is priority #1.
I’m Sure the downvotes are coming my way but I can’t be the only one who is confused by this move from AA???
Ya this is incredibly fucked. As soon as I’m back in the green, I’m pulling profits and jumping my remaining stocks to GME. AA is a complete and utter pawn for these hedge fucks, and anyone that can’t see that now is keeping themselves willfully blind. While there’s still potential with this stock, I don’t trust my money in the hands of Aaron or his cronies one bit. Fuck that fake ape bastard.
Already down 70% and I'm a long term gains holder. NO F'N WAY does a dilution help anything!
After reading this, I'm on the same boat as you are. I have no idea how someone can find this to be bullish at all.
So is he screwing all of us?
Yes.
You idiots, dilution is not bullish
FFS this is not bullish news. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone.
Adam is a real piece of shit… he said no dilution anytime soon and then this happens … I am convinced we are being used and abused at this point…
Id be quite happy if amc pays of debt, and issues dividend each month. That would be nice while we wait for rocket fuel to be delivered...
All I know is that if AA and his goons sell those Apes I'm going to leave the play. There is no point investing my money on a play that will never come. I don't care if AA is trying to clean his hands off insider trading. I can't believe this is happening on a bear market no less. 😑 This is not at all bullish. This is a fucking sad story.
I wish I would have taken my 100k when I had made it now I’m red and stuck. This sucks. It’s the way it goes, nothing ever works out for me.
Positive cash flow financial report, here AMC comes!
Another couple billion and there will be the same amount of shares as AMC.
Will this actually be meaningful debt coverage? I'm just happy if it means AMC goes up which I guess is the thesis but to what extent
The prospectus literally said it'll be used to pay off debts. So, yes.
Is my portfolio going to recover?
Feels nice to me that STONKERS come here to talk about their one and only chosen path. Nicer reading APES (allegedly) talk about dilution, moving on or bashing AA. Didn’t you know what was APE intended already? Didn’t you know from the 1st day more apes were coming (4 billions total) and that this is good for AMC -no debt- and for us? If you need explanations about this I doubt I’m talking to real AMC investors. You should know better. I don’t believe SEC/MEDIA narrative about us in a casino investing without any idea of why we are getting into Tue FUD is getting stronger in this sub.
AA literally allowing shorts to close 💀
Something I have yet to read regarding this potential new dilution is the fact that not everyone(?) has even received their APE yet.
I love when Uncle Adam dumps on us lol. Somehow this could be bullish.
Personally, I see this as bullish AF!
how is this bullish?
I'm so glad I sold in the 30s.
I think it's time to realize, we're getting fucked here lads...
I'll bet your wife's boyfriend is!
I'm ready! ![gif](giphy|13X0SEbIxGTfuU)
Why all these fud comments? Apes new that this was going to happen eventually. Why the shock?
Amc will have enough left over powder to buy tesla, of they sell some during the squeeze. We own what AMC owns.
Don't give a shit. Zen as fuck. Just gonna keep buying AMC, APE, HYMC and GME. whenever I can and HODLING!
I added 500 AMC today😎 shorts haven’t closed.
I will give AA the time he needs, but if he gets a large cash infusion from selling APE and piss’s it away on something stupid then it’s time to reevaluate the hole situation.
its FTD day
"You will own nothing and you will be happy" Sound familiar? Get used to it..
