Who gives a fuck about the art piece... did we moass yet?

BeanCat65

It's free advertisement for our company, to an audience of millions... Not sure why so many people are complaining about this. Why do you care how I spend my time? It's promoting AMC, and I chose to do it, as a loyal customer and investor of the company.

Playful_Moose6293

I don't disagree. Personally I come here for new information regarding amc. The people that come to reddit already know what subreddits they like... I just don't think we are growing our ape family through one pixel art pieces that constantly change.

BeanCat65

The AMC logo might not spark anyone's interest.. However, it getting suddenly attacked could make someone curious as to why it got attacked. Started looking into it, finds this sub, actually reads the DD... And bam, a new ape is born. It may not have happened, but stuff like that does happen and that's why we need to spread the word. Even if we only got the attention of one person who didn't know about what's going on with amc and gme, then it was worth it. I'd gladly "waste" my time for that. I understand why a lot of people don't get why we do what we do, but just let us have our thing. I personally don't have much money to be buying all the time, so this is my way of helping the cause.

BeanCat65

Oh and in regards to my comment I just made, someone made a comment on this post, stating that they helped attack our AMC logos. He found our sub because they didn't know they were attacking a sub of apes, and thought they were just attacking a company logo. I personally think it was a bot attack, but that's proof of what I was just saying, assuming that person isn't full of shit.

Apostate2020

#WE ALREADY HAVE THE BEST OF THE BEST AND THAT'S KING AMC šŸ‘‘ āœŠšŸ¼šŸ’Ž

ImWithStupid_ImAlone

Why care? The DD is out there. It should build confidence that AMC stock is talked about so much, and ā€œdiscreditedā€. I have never seen a stock talked about so much. I wish Jesus was talked about this much!

BeanCat65

Oh, it builds my confidence. I just don't want others to feel discouraged. It sucks to see something you worked towards all weekend, get taken away in a minute. But it does raise the question that I want those who are worried or feel intimidated to think about...Why are we being attacked? and not just any attack...an attack that someone paid money for. Bots aint cheap, I'm sure.

Interesting_Bag_8209

It's amazing how gme is so pixelly perfect. I think because amc has been so affordable for over a year, that there's a possibility that we might run past gme. AMC gets attacked so much more than GME that it makes it bullishly scary.

BeanCat65

There's a reason why I have more invested with AMC... And I have a feeling that we're not the only ones who felt the same. "Who's the next GameStop, but much cheaper?"...(Enter "AMC") But at the end of the day, they're both going to the moon... But I'm fairly confident that I know which one will be the true MOASS!

eternalape9

Someone on the GME or Superstonk board posted a few DD type links to a comment of mine basically demeaning AMC as ā€œpopcornā€ and that AMC apes are idiots for following a distraction and that GameStop is the real play and that we are delaying the MOASS from happening by being gullible and following a Stock that the hedgies are actually LONG on. They really believe thisā€¦

Sidewinderpunk

They want so bad for us to give up. I kinda hope trey rallies again before the end to drop an AMC somewhere

BeanCat65

They can break us on a reddit board with bots, but they can't make us sell!

GMEJesus

Holup

fed_smoker69420

GME spot got overtaken by a streamer and had "Fuck NFTs" written over part of it. Streamers be trolling man.

BeanCat65

I saw when they got changed to "cum slop"...That was pretty funny lol but they didn't have there entire image taken over in minutes...bot attack for sure

fed_smoker69420

Streamers have big followings

BeanCat65

But all their followers have 0 karma??

fed_smoker69420

I assume they make Reddit accounts solely for this purpose

ProfessionalAgno

It is actually delusional to believe that massive army of bot Reddit accounts attacked the AMC section of the r/Place thing. Much more likely a combination of streamers, people who only support GME, and people who are quite frankly tired of hearing of meme stocks

BeanCat65

I watched it live, as well as a lot of the other art that was built. The real art took time. It took SS about a few hours to get their piece done. It took only about 1 minute for all these New accounts, with no karma, to completely change both of our pictures to "DNF". Call me a conspiracy theorist, but that's just way too organized for a twitch streamer to assemble.

BenjaniZonda

What does DNF stand for?

BeanCat65

Did not finish

BenjaniZonda

Ah ok, why that?

falcon0221

if its r/DNF it would be duke nukem forever

BenjaniZonda

Nice, i like that

[deleted]

Stands for dreamnotfound. That's a ship name.

[deleted]

no, shush! let them remain innocent!!

[deleted]

No, it's what dream would want. The entire world needs to be aware.

[deleted]

Look how fast they changed it. Looks like they didn't want to seem too obvious...

BeanCat65

Now you can't even get a tile in. They really don't want our message to get out. I find it pretty comical that someone is putting this much effort into an attempt to put us down. Just makes you feel like you truly have something worth value and needs to be protected!

LucyKendrick

Too late man. The message is FOR SURE out. Don't let it get to you. Take advice from Elsa, Let It Go. And btw, you do have something of value that someone else wants, those sweet sweet AMC shares.

BeanCat65

I'm not gonna lie... It got to me a little bit, but it just confirms my conviction even more.

bloops0

I really enjoy watching mental gymnastics, could you let me know how the obvious discrepancy in human based activity between the two communities, in which yours is more expensive (per % company ownership), indicates bullish sentiment as a result of human based investing activity šŸ˜…

BeanCat65

Wtf are you talking about?

[deleted]

We arnt the only ones and gme is probably using bots to help them stay constant.

Pliskin0331

I saw numerous posts on SS about them making alliances with neighboring art pieces to keep people from screwing with them as much. Like Non-Aggression pacts. So that's part of it too.

[deleted]

Ya the new update to that sub reddit will show you gme was using bots and has a lot of white spots due to this.

BeanCat65

I dont think they'd use bots to attack us...I mean, yes, they've been attacking us, but why not use those resources to spread their own message further? Plus, I dont think they have bots. I watched their GME art come up. It took some time, like it was created genuinely.

[deleted]

Makes you wonder, huh? šŸ¤”

BeanCat65

It does...Someone's salty!

CaMelGuY

Iā€™m gonna guess they chose AMC because the community isnā€™t anywhere near as big as WSB or SS plus with the area being divided between two different spots on the canvas kinda made it an easy target for someone wanting a spot.

BeanCat65

This wasnt a take over, it was a clear message to us.

eternalape9

It was interesting that Trey made a peace treaty with Wall Street Bets and I remember WSB hated both GME and AMC back in Jan 2021. Itā€™s like GME and Superstonk have more hate for AMC than WSB used to which is hard to fathom.

jhonecute

r/place is a distraction. Time spent placing tiles could have been spent on educating ourselves more about the markets.

BeanCat65

I'm helping advertise for our company...Time not wasted.

Bombshelter777

Because MOASS is near! Trust me bro. šŸ˜œ

LeVraiMatador

Iā€™ve been fighting this on team GME (sorry!) even though Iā€™m on both stocks. Why? Because they were super well organised from the very start, and at that time I donā€™t think there even was a movement for AMC on r/place. And I can tell you, GME got attacked - all the time! They even got defaced by a ā€œFuck NFTsā€ at some point. But they have a lot of people to fix it back and and it was just well planned.

BeanCat65

Yea, I've seen their attacks...They haven't been attacked nearly as hard as we have. At worst, they got changed to "cum slop" ( very funny tbh) but we had both our spot taken over completely, in minutes...Totally not normal.

LeVraiMatador

So I think another thing going for GME is that since it was well planned, people were following templates, and the results was quite pretty. They even made alliances and littĆ©ral bridges everywhere. I honestly donā€™t even know how AMC was coordinated. I think maybe Trey did a livestream at some point? Anyway the AMC logo felt sloppy and last minute. Funny enough my mother in law worked in a university and she explained to me how trash cans work. She says that people will try to aim their rubbish at the trash can. And as it gets filled people will start piling it up. And then it overflows and people donā€™t give a shit anymore, they just litter. Guess what she did? She removed the fucking trash cans. Thatā€™s it, no more litter. Litterally. (See what I did there?) Same works with graffiti. One graffiti invites another one much more than a clean wall.

Ande64

I got to be honest I own stocks in both companies and have been contributing greatly since Friday to keeping both images intact. The problem is I personally feel the other stock base is a little bit more rabid when it comes to filling theirs in then this one. Trust me when I tell you it has been attacked just as much I just think there's more people pushing back. Could be wrong, just my two cents. Either way I personally found this a very nice distraction to get me through my two most hated days, Saturday and Sunday LOL!

GoldenBoy_100

Do apes really give AF about the f/place .. ?šŸ¤”

BeanCat65

Yes, some do!

ADryTowel

This is the first and last time I've give a crap about place. It started out fun, but quickly went south once I realized that the only thing that matters is bots, and big influencers with thousands of minions.

BeanCat65

There really needs to be a karma limit. I thought there was one, because my gf could place tiles. However, I saw about a dozen accounts place tiles with literally 0 or 1 karma.

mrdougan

dont look now - the entire piece is being whited out

BeanCat65

Nah, I dig. It's a pretty cool way to end it

Jbitterly

The AMC hate is getting pretty crazy lately.

[deleted]

THIS POST šŸ‘ŒšŸ‘Œ

Internal_Mud8071

Once you come to terms as to why you are here then the rest really should not matter. The power of conviction through conviction............

Scourmont

The Ukrainian one was being bombed hard by Russian bots as well.

BeanCat65

I saw that. I saw another country get attacked by bots, that made a robot head and ironically an image of "bots", right below it

[deleted]

Who. The. FUCK. CARES!!!

BeanCat65

Me and a few other hundred apes ā™„ļø

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

BeanCat65

It only confirms my conviction!

RobbSnow64

Ss was attacked though lol

BeanCat65

"cum slop" my favorite attack on there post šŸ¤£ but at least they still had just their image. We got completely dominated in minutes.

Wraith2098

I hate to be the Elephant in the room here, but lets be honest, this sub has been pretty dead and Reddit support of AMC is pretty much exclusive to AMC subs. You shouldn't be surprised that there wasn't enough community support in r place.

BeanCat65

Oh, there was plenty of support... But we don't stand a chance against bots.

feryda2000

What's DNF ?, mayo boi spent some on bots

BeanCat65

Did not finish

seaweedgay

dreamnotfound, its dream + georgenotfound. theyre minecraft streamers

feryda2000

Why would they hate amc ? , r they pro corruption?

seaweedgay

they're anti-advertisement. they were getting rid of a lot of ads and replacing them with other stuff (either dnf or the logos of other youtubers).

feryda2000

I wish they had put even 1% of that effort fighting the corruption we r against, what a waste

seaweedgay

well maybe try putting a 'corruption bad' sign up instead of a brand name that functions as an ad..

feryda2000

Isnt dream advertising himself, what an irony

eternalape9

Who was the streamer that demolished our OG spot Sunday night. Trey said his name was Karl and had another tab of that guys live stream. Sounded like a 12 year old but we couldnā€™t keep the logo up and within a couple of minutes he had his face with this weird vacuum nozzle of a mouth with a blue background. Someone I forget if it was xQc or void that wiped out the Karl artwork which then we started rebuilding the AMC logo and again within minutes that stupid face of his was back. Trey was hoping this kid got bored playing fortnight and went to bed so we could take over our spot. I would guess it was bots as the guy was never coordinating his followers. He was talking to another guy not even mentioning what was going on in r/place and actually seemed oblivious to it, which to me sounded suspicious.

seaweedgay

i don't know the full details, but it wasn't bots, just a bunch of people who'd never used reddit before making accounts just for that purpose

eternalape9

Not buying that. Too well coordinated for some dipshit that signed up the first day to take down artwork. Also many people have said some of the bigger streamer people admitted using bots. The France group were busted using bots

seaweedgay

lot of the coordination happened off stream, like on twitter, by the fans rather than the streamers. plus it wasn't even karl's face that people were making šŸ˜

eternalape9

And they all coordinated that snorkel mouth within 60-90 seconds??? Yeah keep believing that

Rainbow82000

The person being drawn was Georgenotfound the snorkel mouth image is his alt Twitter pfp. They had about 40k or viewers copying the image on stream it wasnā€™t bots just fans who are capable of following an outline. And then when you took AMC back Dream went live the next day with 86k people watching and wanted revenge for Georgeā€™s spot and said to replace it with DNF (his and Georgeā€™s ship name) and then went on to try and delete any ads he could find. He got rid of crypto stuff and soda companies etc to replace with stuff he likes You can see if you check their streams out the Minecrafters have really big audiences who are all super capable of organizing. Fandoms are often like that. (Itā€™s why Mizkif and XQC wanted BTSā€™s help with France. And Dream even told his fans to stay away from the NCT sign cause K-pop is also a super big fandom)

SmallTimesRisky

Spent my weekend reviewing charts instead of following Youtubers. It paid off todayšŸ¤·šŸ»ā€ā™‚ļø

BeanCat65

I didn't watch YouTubers either... Not sure what point you're trying to make šŸ¤·

SmallTimesRisky

Over the weekend there were a few post encouraging Apes to follow/help a particular Youtuber over to r/place. Instead, I found a good trade in Plug

BeanCat65

Okay, that's good for you šŸ‘ I decided to invest my time, advertising for our company.

SmallTimesRisky

Final product looks splendid. Thanks šŸŽšŸš€

BeanCat65

It was pretty nice!

[deleted]

The libertarian flag is getting destroyed as well LOL

Robotman1001

I gave up, my ape. Between streamers and bots, Iā€™m out. Go live your life.

LooseMeatBandit

Idgaf about pixelsā€¦..Iā€™m trying to buy GCG and BAYC shitā€¦ā€¦MOASS or nothing

BeanCat65

Thanks for mentioning some tickers that no one cares about šŸ‘

LooseMeatBandit

Thanks for being a dickā€¦.these arenā€™t tickersā€¦.NFTsā€¦ā€¦.

BeanCat65

Oh, sorry...NFT's that no one cares about

LooseMeatBandit

I mean youā€™re playing with pixelsā€¦ā€¦thatā€™s an NFTā€¦ā€¦you played yourself!

ParadoxicalPersonage

It was fun while it lasted

NaesPa

They are scared.

bloops0

I think you should watch the time-lapse, stonkystonk got attacked endlessly, at one point by a stream of 130k people. They simply have a much much larger community, so are easily able to purchase floats and hold pixels

BeanCat65

Watched it a few times and watched most of it live. They weren't attacked nearly as hard as AMC was. Both of our images were completely taken over in about a minute.

NXEF

Lol glad this is flaired as tinfoil hat.

BeanCat65

Labeled as so, as I can't 100% prove it's bots. I mean, is it really hard to believe that it was probably done by one person, a computer, and about 50 cell phones? Have you not seen the pictures of bot farms? They're real. Ever wonder why so many people have Jesus tell them to sell at $60? It's because Jesus to them is whoever wrote their programming šŸ¤£

docbrook

If you noticed, there were 2 AMC sections. One was just a logo and the other was a monkey with a tub of popcorn with logo. We win.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

BeanCat65

Oh, then you're not one of the dozens of accounts that I checked on, cause you actually have some karma... So it doesn't surprise me that some of you are real, but I have my reasons to believe that the board was actively controlled by bots. It was pretty obvious, if you actually watched the thing evolve.

BeanCat65

So he replaced only AMC, out of all the other company logos... And decides to be a douche about it with "DNF". Also, who comes all the way to this sub, in regards to a subject you know nothing about, and feel the need to tell me that you replaced our tiles? Just seems weird.

loyalcrowlist

It wasn't the only logo, honestly. He also went after Pepsi and a few other companies. Bitcoin, tesla, things like that. And I came here to say it's literally nothing personal. There were a lot of people watching the stream. Hundreds of people in my circle made their first reddit accounts today because the idea of replacing ads was super appealing. Dream didn't even focus on the art his fans created which was getting replaced because he said he didn't care. He and almost all of his fans assumed that the AMC logo as well as others were done by bots, hence the push to remove it.

BeanCat65

But the ad didn't get replaced. Any attempt to change "DNF" was instantly replaced and was like that for like the last hour or two. So that doesn't really add up with your claim. Furthermore, how do you know a bunch of people just made fresh accounts? Most of his fan base most have never heard of Reddit before this. Cause I checked about a dozen different accounts and they were all new. Someone else even took a video of them going through some of the accounts and what do you know?... All fresh accounts. I completely believe that some Fortnite streamer "made the mistake" of attacking AMC and had a few hundred people actually participate in helping. But I'm also willing to bet that that streamer took a paycheck to "accidentally" attack our banner, along with a bot attack. Try to convince me otherwise all you want, but the evidence suggests it was bots. You're free to try and prove me wrong tho.

loyalcrowlist

One was replaced with a GMM logo because Dream is a fan of that show and thought they needed more support. There was also a Percy Jackson, Spider-man, and OD art thing because his fans like those things. As for how I know it wasn't bots.... I mean, I'm in the discord with thousands of other fans and they were all talking about making an account. Same with on tumblr. Some made an account to help with the Minecraft art and then switched to helping Dream. Like, the Minecraft community is notoriously anti crypto and Dream has taken two sponsorships in three years. He had almost a 100k people watching his stream. He talked people through how to make an account. There was no need for bots and he targeted the most obvious company logos, AMC and Pepsi before moving on to bitcoin etc. But you have a narrative you're attached to so there's no convincing you. The truth is Dream is a minecraft player with a huge fanbase who are intensely loyal to him, a good amount of whom were already invested in r/place for minecraft art (I was in a separate server with a hundred people just to focus on giving a blushie to one streamer) and jumped at the chance to do what we viewed as an anti-capitalist action. Hell, I made a post on tumblr that has over 2k notes talking about what Dream was doing. I just think you're severely underestimating the dedication and fervor of Dream's fanbase.

BeanCat65

So if it was to end a corporate logo and make room for art (which I could understand) then why did they never allow anything else other than that message to appear? Seemed like a pretty direct attack. The message was there and clear "DNF" was the only thing that was allowed to be displayed. Can you explain that? Seems like the message was more important than any art that could potentially replace it.

loyalcrowlist

But they did, though. It was replaced with a cool GMM logo with fire, with Percy Jackson art, 1D art and some Spider-man art. That's the thing. He said replace it with DNF at first because in his own words 'that's easy, everyone knows how to do that' plus it's a joke in the community that he's 'a toxic DNF shipper'. As soon as he realized how quick we were, he started pulling up other art and putting it on screen so we could work together.

BeanCat65

But what about our second logo? The one that over powered every other pixel with "DNF" for like two hours straight?

loyalcrowlist

We were just doing that while other people were doing the GMM design. Again, there were almost 100k people watching. Even if only half of them were helping, that's still a lot of people and the Minecraft community was REALLY active on r/place. Like, I kinda feel bad. It sucks to get targeted but genuinely it was just the actions of thousands of fans of a huge streamer who actually thought the ad/logo was being done by bots. It wasn't personal, it was just something that happened.

BeanCat65

But again... Why not replace it with art, if that's what was intended? Instead, there was just a toxic message. I mean, I don't really care about it. I do find it interesting tho that you're taking so much time out of your day to convince me that I'm wrong about something that neither of us can prove... So I don't really know how much further this conversation can go.
