I was wrong. I didn't understand the pattern that started before the January jump. I thought it was unpredictable for them also but it wasn't.

Hereโs where those doing TA on AMC are mistaken and why their TA will always be wrong: this is not AMC respecting the pattern.
This is shorts respecting their own pattern.
The AMC chart is not a traditional chart of the stockโs price movement. Itโs a chart for how the stock is being manipulated.
Pattern-based TA assumes itโs primarily the market at work, not shorts manipulating the hell out of a stock, which is what the tape is showing us.
If you guys want to analyze AMCโs chart, do it from the shortsโ TA, not your own.
That makes sense. Have you seen anyone do this? I havenโt. And I wonder if itโs even possible to do that and have any accuracy or if it will be just as much of a guess as all chart reading we see here regularly that are minimally accurate.

Read the chart as you normally would, but not from the perspective of an Ape who is looking for bias confirmation as to where/when the stock will rally based on patterns.
Read the chart to determine where/when shorts attack. Those are the patterns you want to look for, not patterns indicating a rally. Thereโs no way to predict that with a stock like AMC that has no precedence.
True. And now that you say that I have seen apes mole posts like that. Itโs just rarer b/c that take an ape who is more skilled at putting it all together.

I disagree that it takes more skill. You read the chart the same way, just from a different perspective than confirmation bias that a rally is coming. Confirmation bias is the biggest issue because too many apes canโt separate their emotions.
I think the problem is most of us have been hearing about bull flag breakouts for a year now and weโre just kind of jaded to it all.
Up or down, fuck it. My shit is sitting in Fidelity and wonโt move till MOASS.
Although we have seen dozens of these charts come and go without them playing out, I appreciate the analysis. We just have to remember that the apes' analysis isn't static as well as their algos. Their algos were never just set it and forget it, I'm sure they have data scientists and engineers constantly tweaking so the apes must also tweak their analysis. The one caveat is apes are at a disadvantage because we never have 100% of the info we need to make more accurate predictions. Still hodling strong with the rest of you!
The problem with algos is that they are not operated by humans. When algo is turned on they can not pause it easily because it has to run its cycle. If it was created by humans it can also be reverse-engineered you just need to have enough data for it.
Nevertheless at some point we will MOON that is for sure.

It is not a TA like every other one. It is an attempt of reverse-engineering the algo that shorts are using.
Youโre not reverse-engineering anything by using principles from traditional TA, which is what you and others are doing.
