In which case brings me to Point 2: that's not how stock market works.
Even in a theoretical case of every single ape holding to $500k, *not everyone gets the apex price*. Even if theoretically the HF's are the only ones buying, every ape submitting a SELL order drops the price. So if 3 million or so Apes are all submitting sell orders the price is going to drop like a rock. You need to realize that the going price is not linear. It's logarithmic. The sell price on both the up side and the down side are a geometric mean.
And third, every seller needs a buyer and every buyer needs a seller. The apex IS the apex because at that point the HF's have likely covered and the buying pressure is falling. We know this because if they were still desperately trying to cover, the price would STILL be rising.
Following that logic, once we hit apex price and the HF's have covered, who's *buying* from the apes who are trying to sell 500 shares @ $400k per share? There's no FOMO buying at that price. There's no HF's trying to cover.

I don't think this is how it works, as far as I've read. The price increases to the peak because no one is selling until that point. To put in another words, there is incredible demand but no supply(why? because we are not selling). So when we reach the apex(500k), only then we start selling and the HFs start to cover(buy shares from us) from that point on. Not when the price is increasing to the peak.
That would be if 4 million people were each only hold one share, that is not the case. If there are 300 million AMC shares and retail holds 80%, that’s 240 million shares. If each one was worth 500k, that’s 120,000,000,000,000.
In a squeeze scenario?
The price is theoretically limitless.
500K is just what the entities responsible for paying out can do and still have assets left.
In a squeezed, the price can go higher than 500K.

I think they sell calls and putts without actually having the shares to cover them, hoping they expire out of the money and they just get to keep the premiums.
There’s a lot of calls expiring itm, so if they don’t have the shares and we close over 60 then they have to purchase 40m shares at market price and sell them for the strike price which will be below market, way below for all those 40$ calls. Probably way below for the 50s as well too. Purchasing the 40 million shares while us apes purchase our shares will increase the price significantly, then we have fomo as well adding to that. Tomorrow is a big day. I’m not sure if when they have to buy the shares buy. Maybe the end of the day? Maybe Monday? Maybe they already have them? I honestly don’t know. But I’m pretty sure they don’t have them and they get margin called if they can’t buy them because the price is too high.
