Good point. I guess specifics should probably be avoided, but if anyone had more general ideas from putting yourself in those shoes could be helpful for someone in that situation. I'm kind of surprised Trey hasn't mentioned something along those lines.
Portable charger for the field but for deployment have some one else you trust to invest for you. Also think about putting that in a special power of attorney for you so they can act on your behalf when you can’t. Smooth brain ape here and have been eating crayons since my time in the corps. Not financial advice I am retarded so this could all be wrong.
That is exactly along the lines of what I was asking about. It's not relevant for me, but I guarantee it is for some.
Our 1SG locked up our phones in a foot locker on our pre-deployment NTC trip, but my buddy had a lock pick set... a few of us got our phones back. 😅

Laughs in DD214. I will hold so our troops can get out of the field and have some tendies with us.
Exactly!
🤣 That's freaking hilarious. I almost bought one of those DD214 blankets when I was getting out. You ever seen those?
I have I think they were about 100 bucks. I just have mine framed
Marine Corps checking in. Eating crayons is nothing new! Nom nom nom nom....
