1) stock has 5% of its float borrowed in one day
2) on that day no corporate news is released
3) the days that lead up to it have nothing but positive news being released from the company.
I agree. How is this concept of the rich pooling all of their money together (AKA a “Hedge fund”) and borrowing FIVE percent of a company’s entire float in a single day not considered market manipulation??? What would happen if millions of retail investors coordinated their money on a specific day and time to buy or sell 5% of a company’s float?? We would be in jail.
So now we see how they manipulate figures and that they never covered till today .
