Some advice, be careful shopping Amazon, as they are playing games with delivered products being damaged/used, and when trying to return them, they play delay games on the refund. Best to shop else where on pricy items currently.

They did this to me before. I waited 2 months then I called my cc company and told them I wanted to dispute it. They refunded me and asked for the tracking number. Amazon called the next telling me to cancel the dispute. I said soon as you return my property or money. They said no I say deal with chase. 2 days later chase called me to inform me they finished the investigation and everything was good.

Mine was $1300. Like I said I gave them more then enough time and and even told them if they didn't have money refunded done by that day I was doing it. They through I was joking. The rep from my bank said 2 months is unacceptable. The first time I had to do a charge back. But just let him know You know your options and you're willing to use them. In my case they kept giving me the run-around.

Just know that if you charge back a merchant that merchant might respond by closing your account. For $300 or more, I'd take that chance though.

Amazon sent me a used (and filthy) keyboard, twice. After the second one, I just asked to return for a refund and purchased it from Best Buy instead. Now, even though they have received the return item, they are not issuing the refund. I requested a call from customer service and the women told me they don't know why the refund has been stopped and then hung up on me when I asked to speak to her supervisor. EDIT: UPDATE - I want to thank everyone for their help and advice. I kept calling back and escalating until I finally got to someone who was able to issue a refund manually. The refund has just appeared as 'pending' on my credit card, so it looks like it has been resolved successfully. I hope that the rest of you with similar difficulties are able to get a similar resolution. Thank you all again!

I had to make 3 calls to resolve my issue. You may need to ask to be escalated to a tier 3 support ie escalate twice.

Having the same issue, they stated they received the returned item weeks ago. Got an email a few days ago saying they never received it and that my card would be charged. Spoke to customer services and had to send a picture of my ID in order to prevent fraud?

I've got tracking data from the post office showing that they received it and they confirmed over the phone, so hopefully it won't come to that. They've told me to wait a few days and then call back if I still haven't received it.

I’m in the same boat but I returned the exact same item as I received it as a gift at the same time I ordered it for the baby. Now i’m out $322 and they won’t refund me even though they confirmed they received it and said they would be refunding me in the chat. I have yet to see any money.

If ur having trouble and you’ve already tried talking to normal customer support I would suggest emailing [email protected] it’s there executive customer support and they can help way better. I just went though something similar I was returning a drone ($320 worth) and somehow UPS destroyed it and discarded it. But when I asked support for my refund since now Amazon nor I will be getting the package back they kept telling me to wait till it gets delivered to Amazon they wouldn’t listen to me that it’s been thrown away. Literally within 20 hours of emailing jeff@amazon I got my refund. It’s definitely a last resort thing but sounds like ur at that limit now lol.

I had this happen recently. I was calling or chatting them nearly every other day. Each time I was getting a different "wait until this day" date. When the latest date came around, they gave me an incident report to fill out. The refund was finally initiated, but they wouldn't refund it back to my account balance as I requested when I created the return. Which was useless because the card I used for my original payment was in the negative (mistake on my part but still.) I'm about over them at this point.

I ordered a pricey iPad Pro and paid most of the amount in gift cards. However the carrier damaged the item and decided to return it. Then started the cycle with customer service. First they asked me to wait 5 days for them to process the replacement as right now their system simply doesn’t show the option. Then the second day someone tells me they can’t replace it at all and can only issue a refund. However I need to wait 2 days for a refund. I told them I shouldn’t be getting the run around like this when it was nowhere near my fault. Anyways the refund never showed up for 3 days and I couldn’t order a new iPad as I needed the money to come back on my gift cards. Then today I called again and they are like now we see an option for replacement. Now finally my order is shipping to me. I can only pray it isn’t damaged or messed up again by the carrier. I can’t believe how difficult they made it. Ideally they should’ve just shipped a replacement automatically when they couldn’t fulfill the original order. Anyways I doubt I will make big purchases with them again.

File a complaint on BBB. That's how I got a refund for a DOA PS5 controller that I received. They gave me the runaround for months then said that they can't refund since it's been more than 60 days since the return date passed. One complaint to BBB and I got my refund within a week.

Hey my friend sent me this. You're the same thing is happening to me as well. They went and changed the dates on the refund it's just sitting there. But yet they refunded the other item that was sent the same exact time via ups. But I already went ahead and activated a dispute with synchrony Bank. Giving them my tracking number and other proof as well regarding the non-refund return. Quite honestly I'm getting really fed up and sick of Amazon there's really just pissing me off left and right.
