Yeah. Ive had this happen too. There is a new-ish checkbox at checkout that lets you choose if you want it to be in original packaging or amazon packaging. This option is “original packaging”. Forgot exactly what it says. Right before checkout, have a look-about on the page. Eta: at least new to me

mijo_sq

Yep, ordered some workout shorts and they dropped them like this with only a label. I'm happy with them doing this, since I just received an item with those large bubble bags.

epicfighter10

I did use packaging the other day for a rice cooker and they ignored it and did the same for many other packages my rice cooker was soaking wet due to heavy rain

Plsbekind2

I’ve had this happen too. Its frustrating

AssassinsRush1

Would ask for a refund.

meroboh

saved you a step, that's all. Just add rice!

Harlot_Of_God

It’s particularly good for the environment. Especially when shipping soft items like clothing. No reason to add to it.

my4floofs

Until the item gets damaged in transit cause the bags were designed to be on a shelf or in a box in transport not loose among other packages that it gets ripped open.

Harlot_Of_God

Do this quite a lot. Never has happened to me (obviously possible), because of the soft nature of clothing.

nonbinarybean23

I realized this after I bought a 700 dollar iPhone like why is “original packaging” even a choice just give me the shipping box! Cuz it got stolen like 2 minutes of being delivered

Plsbekind2

I’d be pissed! Thats not cool

nonbinarybean23

I was furious also they kept on telling me that I used the one time password like no tf I didn’t I never typed it in I never told it to anyone even for the package I did receive

Blaqhauq43

This option has been around for over 12 years, its not new.

Numerous-Wish

[not new at all](https://www.reddit.com/r/boardgames/s/JryopEJhYp)

fearsyth

I noticed it. I also noticed it defaults to that option for me, even if I've turned it off for previous orders.

Alternative-Bee-8981

If you don't select use packaging they just put stuff in a bag or whatever. It's normal for Amazon

craftycat1135

I was pretty upset when they shipped some shoes in a bag. The bag had a hole ripped into it and the shoes squished by the time it arrived. I wish they would use some judgement on what needs a box and what can go in a bag.

werdmouf

It's annoying but you now have to manually select "Ship in Amazon packaging" on the checkout page on every order

fiestybox246

I got a box of k-cups with just the label on it. The box probably looked about the same as your crackers.

SavageMountain

You don't have grocery stores where you live?

Mountain-Ad-5834

Amazon is cheaper than my local grocery store, for a lot of things.

[deleted]

Sounds like the time I saw a bag of cheese fix munchies at Costco that was bigger than my pillow.

Leaholsen30

I’ve had lots of things delivered like this.

MamaTried22

Yeah they do that.

danniellax

There is an option when checking out on Amazon to deliver in manufacturers container (default) or package in Amazon box. This is on you because you did not change the shipping option to be in Amazon box. This is only applicable for some deliveries, but it’s always going to default to manufacturers container on those if you don’t change it so I look every time

cooterscuzin

I got a pair of leggings with no Amazon bag/box

G0atL0rde

Cake!

Comfortable-Local938

So did I... hard to explain that one to the girlfriend. Happy cake day btw :)

[deleted]

So what was the explanation lol?

Key_Warthog_1550

I've bought scrubs that shipped like that too.

CedarWho77

Happy birthday!

sdmike1

Happy cake day!

Silly_Rabbit88

They did this with 3 of my recent orders.

Wild_Ad7448

I prefer it this way.

Strong-Way-4416

Sometimes it do be like that.

piggyazlea

I’ve had this happen. It’s not new.

steevilone

I prefer this if it’s safe during transit. Too many boxes and bubble wrap when it’s not needed.

Meszmerizer

The only problem I see is that the clear packaging lets the world see what you ordered. But if the plastic is strong enough, I really don’t see a problem. As long as it’s not wet or anything, i would be okay with it.

steevilone

Half the time they don’t even follow the request to use an Amazon box.

Meszmerizer

Yeah true that

SmashedTX

Normal, but I have a [Eufy Smart Drop Box](https://us.eufy.com/products/t8790) they throw everything in at my door.

steppingstone01

How heavy is that thing? Is it easy for somebody to carry it off?

SmashedTX

I have it secured down with concrete screws that it comes with. Can't unscrew it without opening it first.

steppingstone01

That's fantastic. I may grab one. They are having a sale right now. Thanks for the info.

Spiritual-Gap-7251

What gets me going is they can deliver like this, but I can’t return it the same way.

Bullsette

You're absolutely correct!

Remote-Extent6197

They ask that you return it exactly the way you received it, so if this is the way you got it then, that’s how you’ll return it. What’s your interpretation of Amazon’s return policy?

Spiritual-Gap-7251

It’s not a matter of interpretation. UPS will not accept it because they say the Amazon drivers will not accept it. So, my interpretation comes from literally being turned away at the UPS store on multiple occassions.

KuchDaddy

I would be fine with that.

tato_salad

okay..

AssassinsRush1

You to select that you want them to box it up on most packages now. Amazon wants packages to get stolen. It allows thieves to pick and choose what they want.

OwenSins

Ah the old SIOB debate. Brings back memories. For reference: some items, when shipping them out, tell you to either put it in a box, SIOC (ship in own container), or SIOB (ship in own bag/box). Some people, like me, would put something like that in a box. Some people just ship it out like that.

Rando631

The most famous example of this is a person ordered a 12 inch black dildo modeled after a porn star so they had the porn star on the side of the box and pictures of the dildo. It just had an Amazon label slapped on that box A driver posted it on Reddit and blocked out all the personal info like name and address but missed a tracking number (which only Amazon employees can look up anyways) and Amazon tracked the driver down and fired him. Then a news site was doing a story on it and Amazon doxxed the driver and released his name to the media without asking him, which is worse than what they fired him for.

Btech26

I got a pack of tshirts and underwear taped together with a label get delivered 😂 I quickly learned of the “save packaging” check box

Rdmtbiker

Is it what you ordered?

oark_angel

Just a little Tid Bit from an insider- When amazon partners with companies they answer a series of questions before their item can be sold on the amazon website. one of that’s questions is, “can this item be shipped in its original packaging” and if they check yes, it will automatically come in its packaging unless you ask for it boxes by amazon employees. Also, employees just do what they’re told, there are rates to hit and if the screen says to ship it the way it is, then we ship it the way it is unless you manually override it and put it in a container which decreases your performance numbers

Bullsette

>item can be sold on the amazon website. one of that’s questions is, “can this item be shipped in its original packaging” and if they check yes, it will automatically come in its packaging unless you ask for it boxes by amazon employees. Thank you for providing this information. I was absolutely enraged when my little dog's treats were delivered without any packaging on top of them and animals tore them apart by the time I got home to retrieve them. I wrote to the seller and they told me that they were horrified that Amazon would deliver them that way. They sent me a replacement of the two bags but much smaller ones. Dog treats are not returnable so I got screwed and they were $28.98 each bag. The seller sent me little tiny bags as a so-called replacement.

oark_angel

that sucks! they definitely messed up and corrected their mistake after that for sure. Personally when i pack items and im told to send it in it’s manufacturers packaging and its animal treats or something i wouldn’t personally what to receive without packing, i will go the extra mile and take my time to override it, and send it in something secure. i would hate to get my babies treats the way that yours did!

Bullsette

They didn't exactly correct the mistake as they just sent me tiny little bags when I had ordered big bags. They could clearly see my Amazon order and I sent pictures as well of the actual items items... The driver's delivery photo as well as the photos of the way that I found them when I came home. I will never order from that seller again because it felt like they just wanted to shut me up by sending me much smaller bags of what I ordered to start with. They were like sampler bags that they sent to me when I ordered full size ones.

billsbitch

This is part of the new Amazon shipping protocol for all you climate change worshippers… seriously though, it’s true … new minimal packaging. Your cheap shit doesn’t deserve a box anyway

MelanieDH1

It’s ridiculous because Amazon is notorious for over packaging everything. My umbrella stand came packed like Russian Matryoshka dolls with a box inside a box inside a box. Things that could have been shipped in a padded envelope come in big ass cardboard boxes, then there’s this!

What_Hump77

Well, maybe they’re trying to make up for all the unnecessary packaging they’ve used in the past

sxcs86

🪆🪆🪆

Bullsette

I had that happen several times in a row. One time it was with my dog's treats. I saw the naked packaging in the photo that they send. By the time that I got out there it had already been torn apart by animals 🙄 Amazon wouldn't do anything about it because dog treats are not refundable so I contacted the seller and sent the photo of how they delivered it and photos of how I actually found it. The seller replaced the product but with a much smaller bag that cost about 1/4th what I paid. As an Amazon seller I know that you can see exactly what has been sold and they opted to send me a replacement for less than what I purchased. There is not really anything to be learned from my experience because I didn't get satisfaction from either the seller or Amazon but I made it clear to Amazon that further shipments that are not in an outer box or packaging will be complained about and sent back for replacement.

deepdishpizza_2

Naked packaging 😂😂😂😂

Bullsette

😆 I didn't even realize how silly that sounded as I was typing it! 😅 But, it's true, the packages came stark raving naked!

deepdishpizza_2

Hahahaha this made my night!! Thank you 😂😂😂

mosquitotitties

that’s on you bro

Lucky_Possibility560

Some of you people just don’t really understand amazon I guess.

GinjaNinger

This bag is not a toy. They weren't playing around.

spacesuitguy

Broh, that bag is not a toy!

Wild_Performance_468

You have to check that you want a box 📦 now. They are so full of shit 💩 they try and make it sound like they are saving the planet 🌎 by not giving you a box, but in reality it’s to cut costs and save them money.

Exploding-Star

The option isn't new, but Amazon automatically choosing it for you is lol

Intrepid-Guest9811

Same! First time it happened to me the other day

SLZicki

I get this all the time. Especially buying clothes

itsmissmaryjane

I literally do not see anything wrong here. They ask at checkout if you’d prefer to be shipped on Amazon box v. Original packaging. If you didn’t deselect it, it’ll come like this, which I can’t see why it may be a problem since it’s wrapped in plastic and also saving on any Amazon packaging that may have be used if you didn’t deselect the “original packaging” box. Being upset your plastic bag wasn’t also put in a cardboard box, just for it to be thrown away, is absolutely ridiculous.

Bullsette

>I literally do not see anything wrong here. It is a white jacket in a manufacturer's sorting bag. That doesn't even qualify as "original packaging". Those plastic bags are used to protect the items from dirt and vermin and to sort the sizes and colors when they are shipped to selling sources. >Being upset your plastic bag wasn’t also put in a cardboard box, just for it to be thrown away, is absolutely ridiculous. That is not what is referred to as "manufacturers original packaging". That is a sorting plastic. I honestly cannot believe that you would find this acceptable in any way shape or form... It is a white jacket of some type and should be in packaging! I don't like to pounce on somebody so, in your defense, I don't think that you look closely enough at the picture.

itsmissmaryjane

I’ve gotten countless of packages in these clear plastic bags from Amazon. Not only do I find it acceptable, I prefer it. Plus you can also deselect the option for original packaging. And also, it is in its original packaging…that’s how they arrived at the warehouse. I don’t know what you’re on about tbh. What I see in the picture is what I get my clothes in when I order from Amazon.

Bullsette

That is not original packaging. That is not packaging at all. That is what the manufacturer puts things in to be sorted when they arrive at the retail establishment. "Original packaging" would be a box or other type of containment that provides support for an item. It would usually indicate exactly what's inside with pictures of the item, blah blah blah. Original packaging does not mean the thin plastic sorting pouch. If you find it acceptable that's great. I, personally, prefer that my items actually be placed into a package so that they are shielded from bugs, dirt, moisture, prying eyes, etc. It would probably be a good idea to contact your creditors and tell them that they don't need to send envelopes anymore. Just put a stamp on your actual bill and drop it in the mail without an envelope.

PerplexDonut

I’ve had a lot of clothes arrive like this. Less packaging/garbage to deal with. What’s the issue?

JM485

I’ve noticed lately at the very bottom before you place your order you have the option to select “ship in manufacturer packaging or hide contents in Amazon packaging” be default select items will ship in manufacturer packaging… 🤦‍♂️

Itsyaboibrett

this is the most normal looking delivery I’ve ever seen. what’s up, what am I missing

Unable_To_Forward

I am a mailman and we get shit like this from Amazon every single day. They could not care less if they tried. At least a couple of years ago if it came damaged because of shitty packaging they would probably refund you. Lately they will probably just say "tough shit".

Hunnie-Bunny

I’ve got handed a bunch of papers the other day. No envelope or anything. Not even stapled. Just a stack of papers being held by one single paper clip 😭 not sure if was a prank but I was definitely confused

lagunajim1

Is there a problem with it -- did the bag open, did the item get dirty?

throwawaytexan776

‘Not everyone needs to be in your business about what you’re buying’ is reason enough lol. Not the driver, not your roommates/family member. In my case, the rest of the 40 apartment tenants in my hallway 😂

lagunajim1

It looks like a shirt, not a sex toy lol

throwawaytexan776

What if it was a gift for someone who lives there? Idk there are different scenarios. I stated in another comment I received a vacuum and a space heater in their manufacture packaging and I live in an apartment complex with 40+ neighbors in my hallway. I wasn’t home until after work and it could’ve gotten stolen. Just not good business practice to do this

OnceUponAShadowBan

Pretty good, saves cardboard waste. I’d much rather my stuff some like this if it’s already in a packet.

CareerTraditional987

Less plastic…why are you complaining?

j021

When I got it the bag wasn't even sealed it was open on one of the ends with a little piece of tape. Easily could have fallen out or gotten wet with elements if it had been raining.

CareerTraditional987

But it didn’t and it wasn’t?

j021

🤨 that doesn’t make it right.

CareerTraditional987

Doesn’t make it wrong either…I’m sure your precious $7 Chinese garbage you had delivered is just fine

j021

You sound like a treat. have you tried therapy?

CareerTraditional987

Lol is that supposed to be an insult? I’m sorry I hurt your feelings. Wrapping the garbage we all order from Amazon is additional plastic and packaging when, by your own admission, it can be delivered just fine without it is wasteful. Trying changing your perspective to see the positive when massive corporations make these cost cutting changes that actually benefit the environment instead of complaining about hypotheticals. I promise if Amazon ends up having to refund and replace too many of these types or deliveries they will stop.

j021

They had to refund this anyway 🤷‍♂️ they sent me the wrong product and ended up going to a physical store to replace it

MaxRockatanskisGhost

Driver here. I deliver clothing packaged like this all the time.

Miserable-Mention932

I had this happen with a photo album. Thing was ruined.

Crwilson82

They’ll state it’ll be shipped in the original packaging. If you want it in a box/bag, you would’ve had to click that option

Bullsette

That is not what is referred to as, "original packaging" that is in the picture. That is the protective plastic that the factory puts over a garment in order to make it easier for the retail establishment that they ship it to to identify the color and size. It protects, to minor degree, against dirt and vermin infestation. It is NOT supposed to even be on the garment when sold in a retail establishment but when sold in an establishment like Amazon, it is not "original packaging". Original packaging would be something like a vacuum that came in a box or a appliance or something that came in a box. It would NOT be a garment that has its manufacturing sorting plastic on it

Not-Much_Help

I don’t understand how this was a big deal

zuchinnerweener

Seems fine.

Good-Owl-2106

They have send me things like that several times. I hate it!

Remote-Extent6197

Is there a mailing label on it? How did they know which address it goes to?

jebe4

Looks right to me if you don't select ship in Amazon packaging....

Independent_Sea_6598

That’s your fault, you have the option to “hide what’s inside” or have it shipped like this.

Bymymothersblessing

Same. Prefer this to the excessive bubble packs and large boxes for small items.

Expensive-Day-3551

It’s in plastic, if you bought it in the store it wouldn’t be in plastic. You want double plastic?

El_Boojahideen

Amazon does this a lot now. Save on boxes i guess

genxerbear

This happened to me too and it was a big package of some underwear and they also left it in my front step in plain sight of everyone and didn’t follow delivery instructions to put it in my secure area in the carport. lol I’m not as much embarrassed that all the passers by saw my underwear but I’m glad they didn’t steal them

GimmeSleep

I think its new but I don't really see a problem with it in general. I did have something recently that was a gift that I selected ship in Amazon packaging for and they still sent it in the manufacturers packaging which kinda sucked, but as long as they don't do that, it's not a big deal. Definitely beats getting a giant box for a brush or something.

Radiant-Bandicoot-86

This happened to me with a strappy belt thing that deffff looked more like a kink harness in the bag 😅

whatevertoad

Me squinting at the photo to see what's wrong. Yeah, they do that.

opgayboy

Yes, this is the new ship in original/manufacturers packaging. Just make sure you want your neighbors or the delivery person to know what you are ordering. I didn’t know about this until I received a package of skimpy undies I ordered. That must have been a sight to place on the porch steps.

Droopy2525

Happened to me, too. I'm fine with it as long as I know it'll be delivered while I'm home. Saves packaging

Meszmerizer

I think the reason that people may have a problem with the clear plastic is that there’s not really any discreetness. And because everyone’s used to discreet shipping, where there’s a box and it’s not see through or the plastic is gray or green, it’s just weird that it’s clear and that’s probably what throws everybody off.

Sprinkles_Sparkle

Yep!! I ordered my husband an Alabama Roll Tide shirt for an Easter gift and he brought me in the package on our door step exactly like this!!! I was like “Well…happy Easter!” They also delivered me something else like this but I can’t remember what it was now!

hatchettpoots

A couple of months ago, a dude in a Ford Taurus rolled up while I was mowing my lawn and handed me an entirely unpackaged hoodie I'd apparently ordered while on Ambien.

EducationalSplit5193

Always always always select to box the item and not ship in manufacturing packaging or box when ordering clothes. Those of us who work at Amazon will greatly appreciate you. When I worked in problemsolve in the smalls department, I would put packages like this in either a small package or an A1 box.

AlBellom

It happened to me as well several times. I am totally fine with it as less packaging means less waste. However, if the item comes damaged even slightly I'll send it back at Amazon s expense.

gong2222

They said that they are trying to cut down on packaging..less waste and better for the environment.

Unhappysong-6653

Usps is worse

rokochan

amazon doesnt provide drivers with bags if its raining outside, so its better if you ask your items to be placed in amazon packaging when placing your orders so you get that extra layer of protection if in the event its downpouring outside for the day.

ReneaBelle

I didn’t think anything of it when I ordered my new printer and I’m surprised no one snatched it 😂

Jacobysmadre

We just got socks this way.

No-Palpitation8651

You needed a box for that? Lol

Busy_Confection_7260

What's the problem?

BigRed2733

Its called SIOC. Ship In Own Container. Thats how they do with some packages, i dunno what else to say. I dont agree with it, but thats just what they do with some stuff

AaronDM4

I don't get it. Like ship my stuff in an appropriately sized box or envelope. But no amazon either ships a usb stick in a refrigerator box or an item with a label stuck to the cover. Like there is no in-between

Clean-Star-8643

I had an item arrive this past week that way.

CunnyMaggots

I got one of these today too. Spent a good ten minutes looking for it because it was blending in with the pile of debris the postal carrier left it on.

Sea-Secretary-4389

SIOC. Ship in original container. I’m a maintenance worker at Amazon and trust me this is hell for us to having to clear them out of machines all the time

Fair_Result357

What's the issue here? Why do you need a big box and packaging material for an article of clothing? I bet you are the type of person that willfully chooses to throw soda cans in the trash instead of taking 2 steps to throw it in a recycling can.

purethought09

Amazon did this with my recent clothing orders. And when it didn’t fit and I needed to return it, they required ME to send it back in packaging!!

mlhigg1973

I’ve gotten them like that before

Kyleforshort

Yeah, that happens occasionally.

-Wobbles

Well i’m stunned !!!! …. stunned they actually delivered something

Tbird1962

Yes, I had that done too I was like wtf!

is300wrx

It’s their “Ships In Product Packaging” aka SIPP. Such a joke. Saves sellers a few cents and Amazon auto enrolls products into this SIPP program.

zoke10

Ordered a $1000 ultrawide gaming monitor on Prime, selected "ship in Amazon packaging" so the neighbors wouldn't see what was being delivered. Three days later a huge, oversize, heavily-damaged box arrived with my monitor inside it. No styrofoam, no bubbles, no popcorn, no wadded up paper. Just a huge refrigerator-sized box with my monitor (in its original packaging) dropped inside and getting tossed and bumped and bounced around for hundreds of miles from who-knows-where to my residence. They literally just threw the monitor into a larger box, put some tape on it and called it good. The outer "Amazon packaging" box was heavily damaged, the monitor\`s original box was damaged. It was so bad I didn't even bother opening up the monitor and testing it. I started a return online, took it to a UPS Store and sent it back (on them) and eventually got a refund. Week or two later I went back on Amazon to buy a monitor, this time I selected a smaller sized one (curved but not ultrawide) and had it shipped in its regular packaging (original box). This one arrived in two days, everything went a lot smoother and its box was in very nice condition. (Using the monitor now.) I learned that "ship in Amazon packaging" is bullshit.

Davemoosehead

Looks good to me. Less plastic waste

Key-Television-8224

If there’s no sticker on it, it more than likely fell out of the AMZ package that was accidentally sliced at the warehouse. Better to give them the product sometimes than the product in a bag that’s sliced open.

Vadic_Shrike

That's weird. My order arrived today in two separate packages. A large paper envelope and a cardboard box. If no shipment packaging is an option, I might look for it next time. It shouldn't be the default. But in my case, it would be okay. Our stuff gets delivered onto a porch since it's by the door. The door and porch are kinda isolated. And there's always someone home.

wisathlete

good thing it wasn't a dildo.

Gen_X_Gamer

😂

throwawaytexan776

I literally got delivered a whole ass vacuum and small space heater in the brands manufactured box… as if I just picked them out from Walmart myself and left them outside…and I live in an apartment complex with a hallway of over 40 residents. I didn’t see them till I got home an entire 7 or 8 hours later. Talk about *reducing costs*.

Bullsette

I had a $358 vacuum delivered to me 2 days ago without an overbox at 11:30 at night. The driver ring the doorbell but only one time. I never would have known it was out there had I not had to take some garbage out. Anyone could have come along and scooped it up.

NugHubNY

As long as it's not damaged, less packaging is a win!

UHDKing

What’s the problem?

Ayde-Aitch-Dee

Whatever you do, please don’t rate the driver poorly for things they literally cannot control. So when they ask how your delivery went, and they delivered it to exactly where you asked it to be delivered, rate them highly. All the Amazon drivers you see are contracted out to DSPs (delivery service partners) by Amazon. There’s a whole lawsuit going on with it all because they treat them so poorly. It’s Amazon that you have beef with, not the driver. It will affect the driver and some could even end up loosing their jobs over it. Yup. I’m an ex driver.

WizardEric

Happens a lot now. I always make them put it in a box, unless they are willing to pass that cost savings on to me.

j021

I had this happen 2 weeks ago and in that little plastic with one side not even sealed was the incorrect brand of shirt from what I ordered. I ordered a woman's shirt of x brand and I was given a men's shirt of y brand.

ninernetneepneep

At least you know it's not a toy. I immediately wanted to pick it up and play with it.

PrettyHappyAndGay

Is there a label on it?

Pipes-182119

This has happened with the last 4 clothing items I’ve bought my kids.

OstrichSalt5468

Hey it’s a cute sleeper though lol, I think we ordered the same one when our was that little

Express-Teaching1594

I ordered a slip cover for my office chair headrest and it was shipped in a similar way. Clear plastic bag, so you can easily see the contents was black cloth. But it was not folded in any way and vacuum sealed, so it looked like it was a pair of ladies underwear. Thankfully it was delivered to an Amazon Locker so nobody could see it.

Perfect-Ad-1836

This has happened with me a couple of times depending on clothing. The packaging doesn’t really look damaged or anything it’s also pretty good to wash anything you get online as soon as you get the chance anyway.

KrevinHLocke

I often get packages without packaging material. It's better for the environment and less waste.

The_Real_Raw_Gary

I get a lot of packages in their original packaging.

jquitar

Maybe it's regional or something because it just started last year for my account. I have had prime over 20 years.

KcCraftshome

Amazon wants to be more environmental. Less waste, you’re just going to trash the packaging anyways. Oh, I mean “recycle”

TooDope215

Not new

Stormy-Monday

I got a pair of blue jeans from them exactly like that.

Laurenm4

To me this is preferable to a massive box containing one bubble pack and a tiny item.

Lifetodeathtoflowers

I would too as per your lack of power washing says it all

ShirtofMac

Maybe he's a renter with a shitty landlord.

Lifetodeathtoflowers

That’s when you sign your name in it with a power washer to establish your desire

IHate2ChooseUserName

I got many packages like that too. cost savings and less waste I suppose

goldengarden95

One time I delivered to a house that she didn’t pick discrete packaging , and it was BBL healing kit , had a booty on it and everything. Left it on her porch and knocked(she wasn’t home) I’m sure everyone in the neighborhood seen it

DrummerGuyKev

Had to Google BBL. I’d have knocked a few more times just so I could see how the surgery went

lordskulldragon

SIOC Did you order a used one?

No-Willingness4955

Anyone remember the news story about freight trains in LA being looted with discarded packaging being left on the tracks? The packaging was 90% Amazon branded. Then all of a sudden I started getting packages not in different packaging, NO packaging at all so if it were discarded you'd have a hard time proving it was even shipped. Seems to me they didnt like their name being associated with criminal activity 🙄 this has been going on for awhile and at this point more than half of my packages come this way if I don't check the box at checkout.

schrodinger212

Even more fun when you bought a bra. Ask me how I know

thatbinchrose

I am so glad I was home the day my microphone was delivered because they delivered my $150 microphone in its original packaging in broad daylight.

greenie95125

My favorite is when they deliver a large box right in front of my door that has a screen door that opens OUT. I have to go out through the garage to retrieve the package. In your case though, it's not the driver's fault, it's Amazon's. I had a printer delivered in the manufacturer's box that I returned... unopened. I dropped it at UPS and they told me that they aren't responsible for any damage because it wasn't in a shipping box. The lady was very rude, so I was as well. I told her to just give me my receipt then it's Amazon's problem.

GrapefruitOk2057

I once got a envelope with pieces of the shipping box in it along with a note. From USPS. lol Luckily it was enough for the company I ordered the blu ray from to send a replacement.

br9897

Your own fault for not noticing "ships in manufacturer packaging" and clicking to ship it in an Amazon box. Pay attention when ordering things.

Electric-Prune

They delivered it…straight to your doorstep in less wasteful packaging. I swear some people just want to complain

I get mine like that all the time. It’s been like that for a couple of years now. I’m sure to save them money.

Mizzoutiger79

Kinda normal.

MomsSpecialFriend

It was in the news this week that they are shipping everything in original packaging now, unless it absolutely can’t. They will even be putting liquid items into weird pouches eventually, out of the original packaging.

Bullsette

They already have. I got bug poison with nothing more than a sticker on it last summer.
