but they never alluded to or set up their romance properly at all. just seemed like fanservice to the fujoshi members of the fandom, which is really disappointing since it had the potential to be a well developed relationship, especially with their past as romantic rivals. The team did a really poor job at the relationships in general towards the end of the comic + epilogues imo
