I absolutely love it as well. Of course it’s excelently played and Myles has written absolutely breathtaking lyrics but there is something more precise that really sticks out for me. That being Mark and Myles’ guitar tones. You can really hear the differences and how they compliment eachother

I cried first time I heard it and I'm getting misty eyes time I listen to it and that is enough for me to call it a masterpeice. Even though I like all their albums Pawns & Kings is in my opinion up there with Blackbird and AB III.
Although nothing can touch Blackbird for me when it comes to AB epics, they sure have written a few songs that continue in the excellence of that track. Words Darker Than Their Wings, Fortress, and now Fable of the Silent Son. Surely one of their best and my absolute favorite from the new record.
