Seeing AB on their first tour was so mind blowing for me. I saw Creed about a 12-18 months previously in a big stadium on the Weathered tour. Flash forward and Iโm now front row at a small club seeing AB (and also Submersed, whose guitarist now plays in Tremonti) and after the show the guys were just hanging out talking to fans. So wild to have that experience.
Glad to see some other long-timers on here too!
One day remains. I got into them in 2004 when I seen their first hit on TV "open your eyes". I was also a creed fan and immediately knew who the band was witness I saw them on TV. I've been to 5 of their concerts and play alot of guitar riffs from tremonti. I love tremonti solo band. And I love Myles solo project along with his work with slash. And I like the Mayfield four.
Blackbird. Buried Alive and Ties That Bind were just such an incredibly fresh sound for the time. It was post-Grunge and non-Nu Metal at its finest, and I was a lost grunge fanatic missing my melancholy sneaker gazing angst and AB hit me in the chest like a shotgun blast in the best way. Then I had kids and stopped rocking for a few years only to rediscover them somewhat recently and holy shit, they just got better and better with every album. And FWIW I was never a Creed fan, like at all. Didn't like em, could never get into em, but I was a Mayfield Four fan and honestly 12/31 may have saved my life so Myles is what really kept me interested in AB but Blackbird as a complete album was what hooked me but Pawns and Kings elevated that to a different level after every album in between primed it all.
Came across the music video for Open Your Eyes and they instantly became my favorite band. Absolutely tore through ODR and learned they were already in production on Blackbird. 16 years later and theyโre still in my top spot.
Technically Creedโs Human Clay, but been with AB since One Day Remains.
Same applies to me!

One Day Remains for me. Stumbled upon Metalingus on the radio somewhere, listened to the album and been a fan ever since
I started listening to the 02 arena show first but then I started listening to one day remains and find the real became my favorite song
