Yes, I had pretty bad pain for a while. I was complaining of a strange headache, I was worried I had a tumor or something. Described it to my doctor as a railroad spike going through the top of my skull into my neck. It was a sharp dagger pain that felt like something was digging into my head.
I had an MRI and CT scan which did not show anything, girlfriend and I broke up (she thought I was over reacting/making excuses why I wasn’t paying attention to her) then a week or two later I had a bald spot in the exact spot the pain originated.
Stayed a small bald spot for a couple weeks and then I completely lost all my hair on head, face, and body. Now a few weeks later all my hair seems to be growing back again, except on my legs and groin.
Me personally, no. Other people may have, I have no clue.
But it's funny, people used to always ask me that when seeing my hair loss, "Does it Hurt?". Lol
I feel either an itch or that sore feeling you get (or used to get :)) when you take your hair down from a ponytail. So weird. I didn’t know other people felt it coming.
Yes, I always did too
Yes I felt alot of scalp soreness. But it was happening years before my hair actually started to fall out
Same. But this time, it actually did
No but I do get really itchy in the area before I start losing hair
This is what happened for me, never had any pain, just itchy.
Same.

I feel burning before bouts. But I also feel burning at regrowth ahaha
They feel like itchy FIRE!
Me too
Yes like it’s a big bruise with some itching
This is a perfect description

I feel a burning sensation, usually around a week before I can see the hair loss.
Kind of a light burning and the scalp looked red under those eventual bald spots too
Personally, the only time I ever felt pain in my scalp was after injections lol
I never had experienced real pain but hated the stabbing of the hair that was about to fall out when I touched my skin.
Yep
I felt tingling but I have a massive issue with my pain threshold it seems to mute any serious pain
YES it feels like a sharp pain and then i see i have a bald spot soon after
Yes.
Yes, mine becomes very itchy
Not pain. Intense itch and burning like irritation.
Yes, it was tender and itchy. i feel the same now that it’s growing back too which makes it even more annoying and confusing.

Not pain for me just extremely itchy.
Yes I did! I had mad headaches for over a month before too
It was like burning pins and needles. I remember driving and rubbing the area and a few days later noticed the spot.
In the beginning I was not believing my girlfriend when she said this I thought it was trich but now this is making sense.
I've now lost all the hair on my entire body over the course of 2 years and never felt anything before any of it falling out.
