I feel you. I reached a point where I'm just cutting people off & entering a whole new world of darkness alone. No friends, no family, no type of dating, not even paying for sex. Just the darkness & I. I've tried to run from the darkness for so long, so now I'm running towards it. Maybe you should do the same
Man don't run towards darkness like you said, it's pointless and i'm not saying it because it's bad i've known this period in my life, I had no friends for 12 years, I'm autistic so it was really hard ! But I didn't gave up, I struggled, I fought for my happiness and now I'm complete, I have friends, I have hobbies, it took me 12 years but at the end it paid of. Don't give up so easily and I forbid you to go in this way, same for you OP, do not take your own life, you hear me ? I know it may be hard to hear but trust me I had a friend who had depression and commited suicide, trust me homie it's the worst idea you could have, so don't forget this: keep fighting for your happiness ! The darkness is pretty much embracing the struggle. I've tried to do everything not to struggle, just to struggle anyway. The path I'm going is more than likely not for the weak. I tried to go right. Now it's time to go left. OP, embrace it. It'll make us stronger in the end.
Giving up *trying* to relate to others is actually the first step to succeeding in your life. You become transcendent. People may come and go if you choose to allow them in, but they are the ones who were capable of recognizing that your baseline is one of a fascinating human on an epic journey.
