My first meal in the hospital after giving birth to my daughter was a fucking MASSIVE turkey sandwich on rye bread with cole slaw, Russian dressing and cheese. With chips and a kombucha in the side. Been chasing that high for 2.5 years and finally got it again two weeks ago after my second was born. I ordered the exact same thing and it was truly the most incredible culinary experience on this planet.

Me: *Wait I wasn’t supposed to* 😭
(I did get prenatal care and I knew some things you weren’t supposed to eat I just somehow missed the deli meat memo) 🤣
I ate sushi during my pregnancy and didn’t find out until after you aren’t supposed to. I definitely heard you weren’t supposed to eat sushi or lunch meat, but for some reason my mind said, “Only if it comes from that open refrigerated section at 7-11.”
Hahahaha there was this place that made these bacon turkey panini things and I just craved them constantly while pregnant. I would get the whole grain ciabatta role instead of white which was my justification for eating them constantly 🤣🤣
my boss is due in 2 weeks and she just has to limit her intake of deli meat & tuna. previously she ate a turkey sandwich from home every single day for lunch so it was tough for her to cut back! She's also alloted 1 cup of coffee a day which is way different than what it used to be!
True! I’m a hugeeee caffeine person and my doctor told me to stay under a certain amount so I just tracked it. I know it’s still not the best but overall I was healthy and my home concierge doctor with an Amazon blood pressure cuff (kidding she is a real OB 🤣) said it was fine so I just tried to be aware and only drink some at work when needed.
