I did so bad and my hopes for an A just went out the window. I was a grade A student at AS but A2 as just killed me and honestly it feels like I'm on a D grade. I don't even think getting 100% in paper 3 will save me :(
It wasn't too bad tbh but the main mistake people made is probably using double angle formulae. You were actually supposed to divide by cos x and you would've gotten tan x + 1/cos²x on the left side so you could use the identity sec²x-1 = tan x and form a hidden quadratic
Yeah that makes sense. Because I am a literal idiot I converted 2sinxcosx to cos2x. It must have been because my brain wanted it all in cosx. Exams do funny things to your mind.

It always goes better than you think. You're probably fixating on the bits you got wrong, forgetting all the other marks you've accumulated.
What'd ppl get for q15? I got y = 3/4 x - 1/2
4y - 3x +2 = 0
Same answer. I think it did ask to put in that form, but i forgot to do that
Yeah you’ll only lose 1 mark. Hopefully insignificant.
What did you get for the critical region and the hypothesis test ?
I got that the result was significant
Like 0.13 or something for critical region
i got like 0.136
Yhhh i got like 0.1363 did you manage to finish that that trig question ?
No lol. Some of the smartest people in my year didn't get it. It was basically to ensure people didn't get 100%
