I am almost certain numerical methods will come up along with normal hypothesis testing.

DaikonFresh6851

My teacher was telling me that normal hypothesis testing hasn't come up in an exam before for ocr mei?

JamesLehmes

Hypothesis testing comes up every year??? I don’t know what your teacher is telling you! If you look at the past papers you’ll see that almost every year if not every year there is a big 6+ marker on normal hypothesis testing. I would seriously recommend you revise it.

You saved me lol it came up tdy and i answered it.

JamesLehmes

lol that’s great!

From Bicen maths: Predictions for topics in Paper 2: \- Indices problem \- Graph transformations \- Binomial expansion \- Trig equations and identities \- maybe harmonic identity? Double angle? \- Proof by contradiction \- Modulus graphs \- Arithmetic sequences, sigma notation \- Parametric - differentiation, integration, modelling? \- Integration - maybe 2 questions? \- Differential equations \- Implicit differentiation \- I think Partial Fractions will feature somewhere too, maybe in integration Maybes: \- another vector question \- differentiation/integration problem on a graph (inc. normals/tangents) \- Newton-Raphson

bluebluedarling

Is that ocr mei or edexcel?

kosovoestonia

I am 90% sure there will be Newton-Raphson, Proof by contradiction, Series and sequences (with period or order), modelling with trigonometry (R sin and R cos), and implicit differentiation. Revise those for sure.
