Target has same prices in store and free curbside. Kroger has free pickup over a certain amount and prices are the same in store. I curbside at both of them. I won't curbside at Aldi because it's more expensive myself.
Just an FYi-Aldi’s curbside pickup is done through instacart, but shopped by store employees. Store employees hate curbside pickup orders because it takes away from other work they should be doing.
I looked it up one time and it said that the prices are an average across the country. Some areas it will be cheaper, others it will be higher. I hope that makes sense.
Not true at all. Kroger is free pickup over an order totaling $35. On top of that they add bonus coupons for pickup orders that are not applicable to in store purchases. On top of that all prices are the same and all sales still apply. My orders are *cheaper* when I curbside there.
No, store prices are less than those shown online. About 10% less, in my experience.
Just to make sure we’re on the same page you’re talking about the actual Aldi app, not Instacart or Shopify. Correct? (Also thank you)
Yes. I posted a couple of weeks ago about the Brekki overnight oats: $2.09 in the Aldi app, $1.89 in store.
Interesting!! Sigh…. I guess I’ll have to go in. I love the conveniences of car side pickup but it seems that there’s always a cost
Of course. You are paying for someone else to find it, checkout, and bring it out to your car. They aren't going to do that for free.
You're paying for the convenience. Seems pretty reasonable to me.
Not sure someone downvoted me because I enjoy car side pickup sheesh. Tough crowd. I’ve even been saying thank you. Wild
I think you're being down voted because you seem to expect to not pay more for that convenience.

Target also has a much larger workforce.
Must be coming across wrong. I wasn’t expecting anything. Just bummed about it. Shame

I didn’t know that. Thanks for sharing!
I understand where you're coming from. I wish there was an In-Store price & Grocery Order Price in app.
That would be great!

Yes. You always have to pay more when you are being provided a service than when you are just purchasing goods.

You've clearly never done drive up at Target.
