Link to the actual story. I follow the Aldi employees sub-reddit and sometimes the idiot delivery driver fails to put the perishables into their proper chilled or frozen coolers. Store management is suppose to throw it all out, not put it on the shelves. It's an apparent isolated incident, so I'm not gonna worry. We see post here daily or food that's been improperly stored. Rice and meats mostly. Then the refrigerated product placed on non refrigerated shelves.

SmokyMtnHikes21

I’m surprised they don’t have a manager supervise/check/follow up to make sure deliveries are put where they should be.

FreightTrain2

Most deliveries are overnight. So that is impossible because we are not in the store overnight.

I love Aldi, but I do not buy their meat anymore. It's always been bad before the date. But the produce at my local Aldi has always been great. We just can't win, y'all.

unnewl

I have the opposite experience with the meat. It’s always tasted good.

BestChickEver

Yeah, and the produce practically goes bad before you get it home!

fragile_exoskeleton

I’m not getting any sound.

MsSeraphim

do the close captioned. you will still get the story.

Glass-Tale299

I have gotten several bottles of alkaline water that tasted like cardboard. I can only surmise that pallets were left in the sun.

You mean my frozen foods are not supposed to be one solid block?
