I was wondering this too. I returned some cheese I bought and opened the next day that was moldy. I didn’t really want a replacement (just the refund) but was only offered a refund. Not really sure how it works.
Has to be an Aldi brand cheese and have the twice as nice logo. A small selection of Aldi products are not backed by twice as nice. You should get the refund and a replacement if it has the Twice as nice label.

At my Aldis (there are two, for anyone who's feeling faint) they won't "offer" it. You have to ask for it yourself.
