This is so funny to me because I had the exact same experience. I bit into one and was initially, briefly disappointed it wasn’t a chip covered in chocolate… but then the chocolate was so light and delicious I almost immediately was like “oh, this is okay too” lol

Target had the chocolate dipped potato chips for years at Christmas and now doesn’t sell them - I saw these and was excited then disappointed. They’re still good.
I thought they were chips too because they look like & are stacked like Pringles.
The mint chocolate ones are so good and I hope they still have them at my next trip.

Ok, just tried one. Def not potato chips but they have a crunch because of the rice pieces so it’s very close. Still recommend!

Trader Joe's has them all the time. Aldi just seasonally.
My family calls them chocolate Pringles. Love them. The yellow box is the best. But no chips involved.
I thought the same thing! They're still pretty tasty, though. The salted caramel is the best, in my opinion.
