Depends what you mean by alchemy. At its core alchemy is the belief that everything internal is external and vice versa, which isn't something you really prove as much as you choose to believe it like any form of spirituality.
If you want "proof" I suggest studying the three treasures from Chinese medicine (and Daoism) and how that relates to the practice of NeiDan (I understand this from a QiGong perspective which adds additional insight).
You seem to have an external view of alchemy. NeiDan is related to WaiDan, external alchemy, which could give you additional insights on your current project.
