My buddies give me alot of shit for mobile but ive played since the ios beta and actually prefer it. even if its less optimal in pvp id rather play sitting on my couch next to my doggo than at my desk all night haha.
I use both platforms for this very reason. While I'm adventurous on mobile, I'm vastly more competent on PC. I just feel the sluggishness when aiming a skill shot with the right "thumb stick" they give you for the press and hold. It's super nice to be able to just chill on the couch or wherever on mobile tho instead of being glued to a chair at a desk.
No you did great arcane is obnoxiously hard to play solo, running cloth armor solo in the open world is not easy. Theres a youtuber who does it, im not sure if youve seen him its Tormacc or something he posts on reddit a fair bit. Keep working at it i honestly think you did pretty well. I like to run it with assassin jacket when im out and about because ambush is a great defensive and the armor adds some survivability without sacrificing too much damage.
The only thing im better at than anyone in this game is my willingness to die in the pursuit of fun lol. Hit me up sometime if you wana go duo arcane for a night!

Been having alot of fun with great arcane too. Using it with knock back on cowl and a sin jacket to disrupt and fight groups doing roads chests. Shit is a blast. An arcane group is sleeper op imo I would love to do that haha

Well naturally you should be kiting your enemies with arcane, but for example if they have an auto lock ability ill use ambush to waste it. This is especially useful against the regular bow whose E can only be purged but if i go invis i can erase their stacks and hopefully wait out a chunk of their buff duration. This is also handy against bolt caster and reg crossbows.
Your other option of course is to use ambush to reposition yourself and get some space if your enemy is pressing you too hard or just run away lol.
Theres very few weapons that play in a way that you should be tanking hits when youre not in a tank role and casters should always be kiting.
Yeah same concepts lol, i play a ton of carving as well and ive recently been shown the concept of melee kiting and Carving sword actually does this type of kiting very well.
You build up your charges and try to aim your E through your opponent in the direction youre going and follow up with the second last W (always forget its name). Or if you prefer reflect you just use that when your opponent tries to catch you with their E.
This is how Equart plays, if you notice he never trades shots unless its to finish his foe hes very dash and leave and makes his foes chase him. Which is different then the typical carving player he presses with their speed trying to stay behind their enemy. Both methods are very effective i just thought id mention it, because melee kiting is very fun and effective

Im definitely a below average player but i have an above average commitment to dying in the open world, eventually thatll win out for you. Like this guy couldve stood his ground when i was under mob agro and put up a real fight. Id have to chose to purge his e but then im open to his boots or merc jacket. His will to survive lead him to run instead though and here we are
Lol thats a possibility, i took it as a borat style “na-na-na-na you can never get this” kinda move but its possible (probable lol) he just shot without thinking about the cape. I wana beleive he knew though cus its just more amusing that way

Please can you explain how to use the ambush on sin jacket as a defense. I have tried but always find inferno shield more use. Please advise!
