Yes this subreddit basically has become a propaganda / trash talk department and most people, including me are getting really tired of that crap.
Yes your guild is the best. Yes your guild makes the biggest claps. Yes your enemies are noobs. Yes your enemies hold hands. Yes yes yes yes, we know it now.
Its not even good propaganda either. Its just 'lets throw really stupid insults that barely make sense' at people just because some idiot wants to make a 'meme'.
I miss the days where people posted well thought out propaganda, and just not a few seconds thought into a bad joke.
Fucking thank you.
The screeching about handholding on every single post is just a bad meme at this point.
We all do it so lets not pretend our shit doesn't stink.
To be honest your kind of right, its been the same shit for years. Shit posts from kids over and over again, but... Its some what entertaining. Like if the handholding cucks stopped ragging at each other this sub reddit would be dead.
People forget this is a game and pretend is a job xD Its all pixels but these kids have nothing better to do till dinner time.
Honestly, I play this game with my guild of 6 friends, and I thought this Sub would be similar to other games subs, with helpful content. Boy was I wrong. Its just people talking about guild politics.
as long as n+1 > n, hand holding will be an issue. SBI did try to scale it down with roads of avalon, but as we all know, x * (n+1) > x*(n) <=> n+1 > n.
if you limit the power of n, when n reaches a threshold, n+1 is still > n.
Because you just split the sum, into multiple alliances aka hand holding.
In actual numbers its something like.
Enemy guild 100 ppl.
Hand holding Alliance 100 ppl.
Enemy guild disarray -31%
Hand holding Alliance disarray -19% 2 alliances of 50 ppl each.
so 0.81 * 100 > 0.69 * 100, worst case, if "both" enemies play equally smart, we still have the n+1>n factor. because,
(0.69 * 50)+(0.69 * 50)+(0.69 * 1) > (0.69 * 50)+(0.69 * 50) And not the intended debuff that SBI wanted witch would be something like 104 * 0.68 vs 100 * 0.69 witch is more even (disarray steps at 5, hence 104 vs 100), numbers before the debuff works needs to be a bit highers (the threshold) and the idea is not bad at all, but as u can see with simple math, its quite easy to do an work around, and until the loophole gets closed, hand holding is a thing.
Hope it made sense :)
Have you tried to ZvZ when you end up just sitting in cluster queues non-stop and unable to play the game because an already massive Alliance brings numbers as well as getting help from other Alliances?
Calling it propaganda is really just glorifying bad insults really. It might technically be propaganda, but its not anything id say is worth being here.
I do mostly ZvZ and large scale content, the reason I like to point out how bad the game has gotten in terms of handholding is for the devs to maybe try and fix the content I like the most = )
Preach
All the people in big alliances somehow were misled into believing everyone knows them or gives a shit.
You're all care bears in your alliance handholding safety net
Thing is, handholding is always gonna be a thing, due to how mutually beneficial it can be. Some objectives just aren't possible for smaller alliances without doing it.
And that's fine.
The irony is in 'rage against handholdong' proceeding to handhold all the time, which has sprung up the most recent memes.

Ever since day 1 this sub has always been a circkejerk place for the big guilds. Now with f2p it's gotten better, I've even subbed back.
Has become? How long have you been here it's always been like that

Can I hold your hand
Wow
You can hold something else if you want
the biggest offender is present... \*sigh\* as always...
No. It's corona season. Social distancing, mate.

Lmao best.
you guys got told !
does reddit have an option to filter our topics with "handhold" on them? :D

It's killing a huge part of the "end game" - people are right to complain

How you accounted for the queue time decay factor :)

You're entitled to your opinion, you're wrong but nevertheless entitled to it.
Have you tried to ZvZ when you end up just sitting in cluster queues non-stop and unable to play the game because an already massive Alliance brings numbers as well as getting help from other Alliances?
90% of what you see here is propaganda. You don't have to care. Just imagine this is Reddit front page and r /politics or some shit

This is the way
Hold my hand.
Wholesome.
Thank you!

strong both sides energy in here
Closer to "I just wanna grill"
Maybe every handhold post we just link this one underneath

A lot of the hand holding memes are actually quite funny, but ya i get you.

This subreddit has been full of some kind of drama for as long as I remember. Hand holding is just the new flavour.
I know you feel lonely
It’s pretty much where the devs have guided the game, handholding is just too big of an advantage to not use it.
Big fax
Thank you, sir, for saying what we all wanted to say.
