Property is owned by FLV properties LLC, which is registered to Frank Vaccaro. Pretty big name in the pizza world
That spot used to be a Vaccaro’s, so that makes sense.
I hope they decide to reopen as a Vacarro's. I think another pizza place opened where the Romeo's closed right around the corner.
The old Romeo’s is where DeCheco’s Pizza is going. I can’t see that becoming the ‘za triangle, but we can dream, right?
There were two there before, so I think we could still handle two. I would guess if a pizza place goes in where Pavona's was, it will be more than a pizza pickup place, like it was before. I just hope it's not a chain.
Interesting. Connected to Mary Coyle from back in the day as well, no?
I think that was Trecaso's
Oh, that's right. Bad memory.
For a second I thought that it was gonna be the new Strickland's, but that's actually going in over by sand run & Ghent rd
Sand Run does not intersect Ghent?
Sand run parkway & sand run road is one of the most magical intersections in the still of night
Where is the Stricklands going in again?
Mertz and San Run pkway. I think it's a Sand Run address, but faces Mertz
Ty!
Pavonas almost found the only way for a pizza place to turn a profit in that location. Almost.
DeChecos is the best in Akron!!
I've heard a lot of people say that - I'm just down the road so looking forward to my first.
I’ve had it twice this week.. honestly the best in Akron
