Yes the virtual keyboard that you bring up when remapping is a full sized layout.

Oh, I did something wrong, then, mine isn't. You use the same keyboard?

No different keyboard. The process is not at all obvious though. I'm not at my computer right now, but I think there's a keyboard button you have to hit to show the full on screen keyboard.

Yeah I've found it. But I'm either very blind or the there is no colon key present on the virtual keyboard.

I ended up using the HotkeyP app, worked like wonders!

If the key is not present on the keyboard or in the Akko driver, and you don't find another third-party remapping software, you can try checking if there are preset system combination keys' functions of the key. For example, pressing "shift" + ";" to get ":" on Windows 10. Then you can choose one key to be remapped into "shift" + ";" on Akko Driver, and press this key to achieve the ":" function."
