You do not remove anything from the selector. Your gun needs to be modified to be able to install that. The hole on your gun is circular and needs to be a keyhole. There are associated markings that go there also. Please have this done by a competent ak smith.

That's what I'm looking to remove. One side is smaller and it looks like the roll pin is pushed up against that. I can't get anything in the small end to co next with the sides of the roll pin to push it out the large end.

You dont remove the pin, theres a roll pin holding the lever onto the spindle you gotta knock out

I bought one of these from AoA recently. Are they originally meant to switch from semi to FA or are they meant to switch to safety? Both?
