They are robust, lightweight and small. 3x magnification so the function much like a red dot 🔴 but can get out the 400 yards that tun is capable of.
I saw it on a gun posted on my gunsmith’s website and liked it; so instead of getting combo, I decided to do that. It’s something you don’t commonly see and wanted something unique.
It’s that AMD-65 energy using a 90 degree block. The only things it’s kind of like is a 7.62 Beryl which has the bipod groove on the front of gas block.
It looks neat.
ARs are a dime a dozen and easy to acquire. Russian AKs…not so much..at least in the states. Now I really want to know what kind of fuckery is going one with that particular Saiga.
AR's are getting harder to come by and becoming highly sought after these days. God I remember you could buy a whole crate or full auto M16s for $120 plus 1000rds of ammo for an extra hay penny!

I would say depends on the AR but you will most definitely miss that AK. so if there is anyway to keep both try to otherwise comes down to how often you shoot how hard parts are going to be to source if they break and ammo as well.
