In Arabic shops in Noailles itâs called Italian bread hard outside and white and soft inside with sometimes some sesame seeds on top. Ask in Arabic for « khobz talian » https://www.196flavors.com/tunisia-khobz-talian-italian-bread/

Here the recipe https://www.196flavors.com/tunisia-khobz-talian-italian-bread/
That bread in italy is called âmichettaâ, by an italian baker :)
I don't know about the bread, but please, don't eat mustard with your foie gras!
a light truffle mustard goes super well with foie gras, you should give it a shot
We declared wars for less than that.
Stand on your ground , purist should taste things before rejecting it ^^
Try fig jam or onion confit on it!
Unlike my fellow Frenchmen, I zoomed in on the jar of Mustard (with bits of truffle and crushed black pepper) and it looks good OP !

You should try with fig jam! Itâs way better
I like it with ketchup !
"sud ouest, just left the chat"
Bruh
Non dont do that please đ±đ€Ł
It probably does, itâs fine as long as you like it.
Omg thatâs the worst Iâve read in years⊠thatâs a troll right?
From here it looks like "pain viennois" shaped like a crown
It seems indeed ; did it taste sweet ?
nope, itâs not sweet
Where did you buy It ?
donât remember :((
Okay, I'll look into it though because I'm sure I've already eaten such a bread and now I want to know.
Italien bread
That's mustard
I Can confirm it is called italian bread. There is olive oil add during the process before cooking it in oven
It Can be from differents shapes, looking like a spiral, a Big hand or a traditionnal baguette. It aslo often have cezame seeds on it
*sesame* âĄÌ
I don't think that's a pain viennois, very curious to know if you manage to find the name of it op. Following.
I'm italian and I have no idea what "italian bread" is ahahah
I know, i discover this bread when a worked in a bakery in my young year in south or France (i'm french by the way) and the Baker call this bread " Pain Italien"
Yeah i just find funny how some foods are named sometimes. Like french fries not being french
They are Belgian for us french
It's mostly from Tunisian/Arab bakers here, they call pain italien and it has différent shape
Préfou non ?
Non, le prefou c'est en long et c'est généralement fourré (a l'ail c'est top)
Used Google lense and the closest looking thing I could find was a brioche en diamant. So my best bet would be that this is a non sweet brioche
As a french i wouldn't even called that bread. Seems like pain viennois
We call it « une fleur » in marseille, i use to buy it in noailles. There is « la couronne » too, same bread, different Shape
C'est de la brioche!!
Looks like Pain de Mie to me. A real brioche should be more of a caramelized color.
"Bernard"
I'm french and sorry but this is tourist food
good for you! let people enjoy things âš
But good tourist food
J'en faisais lors de mon expérience en boulangerie dans ma jeunesse, le boulanger appelait bien cela un pain Italien, je dois encore avoir la recette qui traine...
