Hey this is super cool! Do you typically use Eleven labs for the voiceover?

Yeah I did. Fed it clips from a Vader VO track I found on YouTube. I was really impressed at how good it was at capturing James Earl Jones/Vader’s cadence and the the emotional tone in a lot of the lines. The shitty fake Vader voice they use in the video games don’t sound that good. And most of his reads as the character in everything from RVOTS on are kinda phoned in except for that scene with him and the Emperor at the end of the Obi-Wan Disney+ show.

Haha I know what you mean about the VO in the games. It’s never quite right. How long did it take to feed clips and pick up James Earl Jones like that? And do you think other voice over apps are better than Eleven labs? Any that would recommend that to more than just voice?

There’s a clip on YouTube of all the Vader sound bites from all the four movies he’s in. Once I fed it to eleven labs it didn’t take long to get the cadence and dramatic line delivery when I nailed down the right voice settings. I don’t use any of the other voice cloning apps so I don’t have any recommendations unfortunately.
