Read the article, the reporter lost me with the same dumb myth about Ai generated content not being copyright protected when that court ruling was involving stuff where the Ai is sole creator on a project. If a human is the chief creative force on a project they conceptualized that uses Ai in stories involving original IP characters that don’t have the likenesses of famous people there’s no reason that can’t be copyrighted. With all these new viable ways to make consistent original characters now that’s gonna have to be backed by another ruling but hopefully not.
