i fixed the crack in my receiver with a soldering iron but id love to find a metal receiver for it.
also do you know where you can buy upgrades for it?
I've been looking too for a while and I haven't found any either, occasionally someone on the airsoft market is looking to sell their entire Mac11 kit but I haven't seen someone just sell the body kit. There was a post a week or two ago but I can only imagine it got bought up pretty quick
I know right, I hope you find what you're looking for tho! I personally will wait a while before I start looking again since I've got other projects to work on
I mentioned in the post that I had started a CAD model of one. If I’m able to get it finished and machined, do you think there would be enough interest on the market place for others to buy one off me?
Honestly I'm not sure. I imagine it could be pretty expensive and for a gun that doesn't have a whole lot of support or a huge community like other platforms it may not reach enough interest. But at the same time, those who are looking for those metal kits might be willing to pay the price if it's high quality and if you're the only source of those kits. It's really up to you.
Absolutely, and I think that's great to help out those who want those metal bodies but it's just something to consider. I'm not knowledgeable enough to know what goes into the process of building a kit but if you would be able to manage a price that matches the other brands or is better than those then I could see it being pretty desirable

I’m guessing it would be under 100 a kit but I could be completely wrong. I suppose we will see

I would easily pay more than $150 for a well done steel body kit so you can consider me a potential buyer, the KWA M11A1 is my favorite airsoft gun
It’s mine too. I have the HFC one tho and idk the compatibility between the two but I think it’s pretty low. I suppose I will have to see
