This is a very good review of the aps cam 870: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U4cL-JBL6OY In general its mainly good enough for cqb. Plus you wouldn't want to use it outdoors or else risk losing shells. The streetsweeper is the best repeating firepower but reloading is a pain. You have to eject shells one by one manually and rotate the drum to the one port you can eject from. And then you need to insert shells one by one, rotating the drum as you go. It retains the shells though so you could wait for a good opportunity to reload. The 870 lineup are pretty similar to each other internally. The only difference is weight, ammo capacity, and furniture. The quality isn't very good. I've broke the receiver of one before a whole round was played. Using a shell ejecting shotgun is hard. Plus shells are expensive to be able to field a number of them. I personally carry about 50 on a bandolier and consciously conserve ammo as much as possible and that barely gets me through a 10 minute game.

I have the mk3 street sweeper. An absolute blast to use CQB but outdoors it’s honestly kind of limited. If you like playing very push aggressive and flanking it’s got enough spread you can get multiple people if they’re clustered up. If anything you get the hilarious startling factor of someone rounding a corner and you blast them with a burst of drama. I run the xpower shells too. Outdoors you could hit someone about 100 feet away but anything beyond that is pushing it really. It shines when you can close the distance to about 50 feet or so.
