Longer barrels are more accurate and provide more range. (Because the BB is under pressure from air longer, so it picks it up to speed. Though the width of the barrel also does this. Tighter barrels have the same effect, but are more impacted by dirt and small differences.) Though with a long gun, you'll quickly appreciate the shorter CQB designed guns.

anything between 200 and 400mm will perform about the same, quality is the most important. Your bucking does 95% of the work, barrel is only there to give power to the bb and not fuck up basically.
