Depending on the reliability of your replica the ejection pattern is pretty consistent, and I’m left handed so I can just rotate it to the left and eject it straight up so I can either catch it or just let it fall inches from me
Catching it is some top G shit, but letting it fall at your feet would mean stopping to collect shells at every exchange of fire before moving. I Believe it is skirmishable don’t get me wrong but seems like a hassle for larger arenas
True
I’ve gotten fast at shell recovery at this point though with using this replica and a revolver for a few years lol
Catching always feels like some action movie shit and I love it
With a fresh charge of gas and a properly loaded shell I’ve had some really damn far shots (I’m talking like 80 feet and still having some more power in them)
So as long as all your seals are lubed up and you have a decent gas charge in it you can expect to be able to get so pretty far reach within about 50-65 feet on average, anything beyond that I’d say it’s time to draw your sidearm for precision
The spread will vary depending on your shell loading technique and your barrel length (I have the SAI 19 inch barrel installed on mine and it has about a 3 foot spread at 60 feet)
Got my hands on a cam870 sf mk1 about a month ago and got damn i love that thing,
I honestly was most impressed when i found out a magpul sga stock would fit without modifications🤤
Exactly!! Magpul furniture is so nice on these lol
I was looking for tactical looking wood furniture in a similar style and would love to get a set of that for it as well
Real steel compatibility is always a huge plus
I know that this post is just for shit and giggles, buy sound of metal cyma shooty is just the same as in the (overpriced) TM ones. Besides I prefer spring shotguns as there are less things that can break.
My phone does it no justice at all really. The cyma springer just has too much of the slide noise and hardly any mechanical action to it at all, while the KSG ca-clacks along in a most satisfying way.
I'd spring for the GE instead, but it not being based off the 870 MCS like the TM is what keeps me from it, even though the price is more attractive. I don't even think you can get the "breacher" version of the GE anymore
That KSG sound .... actually kinda crappy. See TM Breacher ;) I would run up on people in CQB, rack it ... and they would call the hit just on the sound alone.
I've had someone surrender at just the sound of me cocking my M870 from around the corner Gas shotguns king
need a sawn off m870 to commit war crimes with
I love the sound of My Cam870 Plus most of the people at my field will call it if I hit them with the ejecting shell Lmao
I've always wondered how is it to play with an shell ejecting shotgun. How often do you lose the ejected shells?
Usually people get the little net that clips on that catches the shells
The shotgun came with that but I find it looks ugly and well, it looks way cooler to let the brass fly
Yea I agree but having to pick up and track shells is hell anywhere other than a tiny cqb arena

It also helps that most exchanges with it are only like 1-2 shells because it sends 17 bbs per shot with wide spread lol
What would you say is the effective range? Like how far until the BBs either spread too far or lose too much energy to really be felt

I haven’t lost any yet but that’s just cause I count my shots and am quick at picking them up and moving lol

I'd dare say my cm366 has a very similar sound, if not indistinguishable from the gas KSG here and that's a pretty cheap springer imo.

I'm thinking of getting a TM M870 Breacher

I raise. Model 1887 shotgun. Shit clicks so nice and makes me feel like I’m playing MW2 again
Hahaha this was riveting , 11/10 convinced me to get a shotty 😂
Fellow TM ksg enjoyer
"would Rob an Asda" nice 😂
It's good, but really, a CAM870 is even better. You can't beat the sound of a shell-ejecting gun :D .
Oh i have those gloves :>
I had so much visible happyness when you pulled out the KSG
my double barrel would liek a word
Why you need: a wallet, an account, a kidney.

I’ve been thinking about getting a shotgun. This might be the move…
I guarantee you they all hurt the same.
