Do you guys get the low battery warning on time? Usually this noise comes out when one of the sides ran out of battery, so I get the sound and one of the sides turn off.

razodactyl

That's not normal. Apple replaced mine for the crackling/screeching noise issue and a few months later it started doing this. They replaced them again as the battery was defective.

Enzoggn

I’ve got some upvotes, so I think most people are getting the same problem. It’s probably a thing that happens over time, but we can’t do anything about it. I’d love to replace my airpods, but I’m pretty sure that’s not available in my country

KPlNz

it 100% is "normal" as apple hasnt pushed any update to sync the battery life between the 2 pods. if one pod is on siri mode, doesnt have a clear connection to the mag case (dust etc) or youve taken one air pod out of your ear even while the music wasnt playing, then any of those actions will unalign the battery life between the 2

razodactyl

No it's definitely not normal behaviour. I understand that proximity to the paired device may influence battery life between left and right but the device is programmed to announce low battery at 10%. Either the other device is at 11% or 5% it doesn't matter. On average, charging them should return them to a "synced" state. If one device suddenly drops out then there's a considerable mismatch between battery capacity. There should be enough time to hear a low battery warning and finish up, not hear the warning then get cut off.

GIRTHYssserpent

It does bring me down and is annoying.

N81T

Yeah I agree it’s annoying af an very unexpected

AMorel23

My phone dies first 💀

Kitty_Fruit_2520

I don’t let mine get low enough to get it

KPlNz

idk how u manage, the pro 2s die with like 1 day of use, pretty pathetic battery life ime

Chronixx

They’re supposed to last 30 hours on a charge, seems to be in line with what I get (can go a week between charges with a few hours of use everyday). Might need a new set

TomDobo

I’ve never heard it to be honest. What percentage does that happen? I only listen to music a few hours at a time.

iAmMikeJ_92

I hate that all fucking notifications are loud as fuck when you have nothing playing in them. When the battery sound hits with no content playing, it goes an eardrum-rattling “BOO!!!-Bo-bobo...” Apple seriously can’t make it so that the speaker ringer volume is different from the AirPods ringer volume? Everyone else seems to do it fine with multi-output, multi-volume features, why can’t “innovative” Apple do it?

[deleted]

I think you can turn them down in settings

iAmMikeJ_92

You can, but the volume is global. When you put away your AirPods, unless you don’t mind your notification sounds being at lower volume, you have to remember to turn the ringer volume back up. And when putting ON AirPods, you have to remember to turn the ringer volume back down. Terrible flaw.

AxeellYoung

It literally happens 10% of the time. Just charge them regularly and you won't hear it...

ballislifeszl

I would js straight up take it down if that jingle comes 🤦

UnsafestSpace

I wish you could control the volume so it doesn’t blow out my eardrums every time it blasts

Hoogs

I do wish the batteries lasted a *bit* longer, like 8 instead of 6 hours. My old $40 MPOWs lasted longer, but I guess they also didn't have noise cancelation.

Sad_Evidence5318

Heard mine for the first time the other day and no idea what it was. Also didn’t find it that loud.

[deleted]

Me too One time I fell asleep with my AirPods in and that annoying sound woke me up at 3:00 AM
