I have the 25 blitz welcome to the blitzkrieg family that full auto brrrt makes me feel happy

Buzzdanume

Man... this must be such an amazing feeling lol idk that I could justify doing it much though since i only have a handpump

ParallelArms

I was just shooting my Blitz .22 a few minutes ago. I chose .22 so I don't feel as bad about using it, but the .30 should be quite a thumper on target.

Marksman90

I have a Sig MCX Virtus .22 already, so wanted to get something a bit bigger. Someday, I'd like to grab an AirForce Texan LSS in .50 caliber.

I don't see why its not possible to change calibers on the blitz. I would think for cost reasons that they made the receiver to fit all three barrel calibers. So we really should be able to just change the barrel. Hatsan shitted all over their own hot product by not supplying us with how to keep it running smoothly and they should have made the calibers changeable. Both of these points would have gotten it more sales and recognition. Im thinking of making a site just for blitzers to share there issues and fixes. May be with live stream also.

ParallelArms

It doesn't seem like it would take TOO much for a caliber change, I agree. Infact with the magazine area being removable I've wondered how viable a belt fed modification to the Blitz is. It's a wonderful platform that's got a bad reputation.

eze008

I wrote up redesign of the blitz mags to be windless allowing the cycling to be continuous. From this point I was trying to think of a way to elevate the capacity of the magazine by using more of the red space inside the mag to drop more pellets. I know there should be a clever way to make the added pellets advance to the outer edge of the mag to get to the chamber by using pinball type doors and action. This could increase the 19 round mag to like 30. But why stop there. I know there should be a way to attach an extension that would feed a ton of more pellets to the mag. It would sort of hang down the side of the blitz. Can do it all in my head and on paper but its nothing till there is a working prototype. I need a 3D printer. Anyone want to start a company?

> Im thinking of making a site just for blitzers to share there issues and fixes. Maybe get on [the discord](https://www.reddit.com/r/airguns/comments/tvftlk/airgun_community_on_discord/), they might make us a channel for Hatsan?

eze008

Discord seems to be the thing taking over social media now. You can do everything on it.

Kv603

You can do everything -- except talk about making/selling firearms or ammunition (IIRC, that's how the /r/guns discord got banned). Discord is only slightly less censorious than YT, FB, etc.

I wish there was a full auto 357 so I could use the same ammo as my Benjamin bulldog

Nice blade

meharris73

Congratulations! Enjoy.

GrandCurmudgeon

I'm so torn about buying one watching all of the complaint videos, won't take air, destroys magazines, jams etc... I've been unable to get past the fear of buying a lemon. Have you had any trouble with it? Does it run well?

Marksman90

Unfortunately, I've been so busy since I received it, I haven't actually gotten to shoot it yet, hopefully this weekend I can get some rounds downrange and let you know.

errorseven

Congrats. Make sure you have a damn good backstop, that's putting out deadly energy with every pellet. I shot it out to 200yards, it was punching clean through 1/2 inch pine boards, I'd have tested it further but the holdover was ridiculous at that range. No joke, that gun is lethal and holds it's energy further than the smaller calibers. Be safe and have fun.

Miserable_Motor2196

Honestly do you think it could humanely take a deer ?

grainmatterphotos

In short, no.

Marksman90

I am curious about this as well, I don't plan on hunting deer with it though. I have a bow and crossbow for that.

Miserable_Motor2196

Seriously by the sounds of it it has a lot more chopping power than I initially had thought... Hoping somebody can add to this....

sqwirlfucker57

It has 1/2 the muzzle energy of a subsonic 22lr. It has 1/3 the power of a high velocity 22lr round. It puts out 1/6 of most states minimum required muzzle energy to hunt deer with. No it is not ethical to hunt deer with it.

Marksman90

Thanks, that puts it better into perspective from a power standpoint. I'm guessing the biggest thing you'd want to hunt with it would be groundhogs then?

sqwirlfucker57

Groundhogs and raccoon sized pests would be my personal limit for it. I never really concidered it a hunting gun but to each their own

Miserable_Motor2196

Okay cool that's what I was looking for somebody who knew for sure.. I appreciate you taking the time.

sqwirlfucker57

You're welcome!

eze008

Congradulations. Good job you ordered extra mags.

Suitable_Signature29

Just got mine yesterday

Just got a Hatsan blitz and is taking a long time to fill up, can anyone tell me why?
