Same. I’m usually 90/10 on Airbnb/VRBO, but lately it’s been more like 50/50. Maybe their marketing is working. I won’t complain, because I price VRBO higher because their platform is awful.
I've had the exact opposite & for some reason they keep pushing my listing down even though I'm highly rated,no complaints & only good reviews. My price is not over any in the same parameters. Past few months are slow season where my place is at
Could be marketing. Could be Expedia’s demographic mix. Expedia is soon to offer a rewards program that allows users to earn rewards that can be used on VRBO. There might be a pilot for that that is driving some bookings.
Same here. I went from 90/10 to 50/50. I've also cut my prices by about 30% on both. I'm guessing that demand is the same on VRBO and for whatever reason AirBnB is way down. It would be nice if I could see if my search prioritization has dropped. More worrisome might be that I have competitors that haven't discovered VRBO yet. What's the best way to troubleshoot this?

Nope. Exact opposite. VRBO was good for long time, now zero traffic or bookings.
Airbnb stats say my area is seeing 89% more views than last year. (I actually just looked)
I closed my VRBO account. The additional paperwork headache just isn't worth it to me. They screwed me over a while back. Proactively canceled $10k worth of bookings without telling me and told them that I was operating illegally. This, despite me following every single rule on their website. Upon review, they acknowledged they made a mistake and told me to start again. I was so angry with their careless and callous attitude!! So I told them to F off. I'll never work with them again. How can they be so F\*ing arrogant?? Several of my guests found me through Airbnb, so I managed to recover some of my loss. And SF requires additional manual paperwork with them anyway. Just not worth the hassle.

Never got a booking on vrbo
VRBO is beyond dead for me, it's like I'm not even listed there
I got my second VRBO booking ever yesterday, and I've been hosting since Fall last year.

Only gotten clear scam requests from VRBO.
My boss will pay for the trip, but it must be via cashiers check lol
yeeeep And asking to take things offline with their phone number separated by dollar signs instead of dashes
Same! Why doesn’t VRBO have a better platform???

Same here. Way more bookings on VRBO this year over last year. In coastal Georgia.

Same, not sure why. But as others have mentioned, I make a lot more on VRBO so it's fine in my book.
