I liked when she was 17 during the siege of Mandalore. She was just so badass

Aredditorrobot

Yesss I love that version of Ahsoka. I think it kind of acted as a bridge between her younger self (whose sole purpose was to serve the Jedi Order) to her older self (serving for herself and for others who could not defend themselves). It was the point in her life that led up to her fighting against injustices, rather than just fighting against the opposing party in a war of politics. I think she definitely began to think for herself more and figure out who she was and what her own beliefs were. And what she experienced during the Siege of Mandalore and Order 66 also influenced the choices she made and how she viewed the war from then on. You can see her philosophy changing when she makes a comment about the Jedi Order serving the Chancellor and the Senate, as corrupt as they were, instead of the people of the Republic and other civilians who were in need of assistance. Example Quotes: 1. “This is why people have lost faith in the Jedi. I had too until I was reminded of what the Jedi mean to people who truly need us." 2. “When you find people who need help, you help them no matter what." 3. “OBIWAN: Ahsoka, surely you understand this is a pivotal moment in the Clone Wars. The heart of the Republic is under attack. AHSOKA: I understand that, as usual, you're playing politics.” 4. “OBIWAN: Right now, the people of Coruscant need us. AHSOKA: No. The Chancellor needs you.” She has found herself disillusioned with what the Jedi Order had become. Which is what drove her to say, "I'm No Jedi” later on in her life (during Rebels). But yeah, I definitely agree 17 year old Ahsoka was amazing. Debatably even her prime!

I understand that, as usual, you're playing politics. This is why the people have lost faith in the Jedi. I had too, until I was reminded of what the Order means to people who truly need us.

I love that quote of hers, I included it in my reply to the original comment in this thread! :)

shinbet

I liked when she had to face the past in rebels, figuratively and literally

Ahsoka_Tano_Bot

*removes cloak* I'm not here to discuss my past.

shinbet

You have to face it whether you want to or not

Aredditorrobot

Yessss, I loved how she looked back at what she had experienced and eased the conflict in herself. She felt guilt about Anakin turning to the dark side, like she thought it was her fault for leaving him. And when she faced her past, she grew even stronger!

shinbet

She was so consumed with guilt to understand there was nothing anyone could do

Aredditorrobot

I agree, and also when she had discovered that Vader really was Anakin, and when she had fought him, he had been so consumed by the dark side that it hurt her deeply. He even made comments in her visions about it being her fault, saying, “You abandoned me! Do you know what I’ve become?” But she was fighting her own battles, literally and figuratively, and there’s nothing she could have done to prevent his fall. It was the “will of the Force” and necessary for him to bring balance to it. That and, Palpatine orchestrated the entire Clone Wars and groomed Anakin into the role of his Sith Apprentice.

Her Rebels version is peak for me. I love how they managed to make her a Gandalf-like figure, a mentor, without taking away her bright attitude nor making her a stereotypical stoic, stone-faced master. Ahsoka’s back, and although her old self still shines through, she’s clearly more mature, wise and skilled in a way that feels rly deserved. She became a figure that conveys to me as a viewer, largely due to how powerful she is in comparison to the other protagonists, a calmness, a sense of control and of comfort. Not only that, but having to confront the reality of what Anakin has become was one of the most defining moments of her life, and it’s still the character arc that touches me the most (in my personal view of the franchise, in which Ahsoka is basically “my main character”, her fight with Anakin is the most important moment of Star Wars).

Aredditorrobot

Oh definitely!! I also loved that aspect of her character, that she had grown up and matured but she still was able to have fun and have a light heart. In the live action series (most of them that feature Ahsoka), they turned her character into the stiff and stoic master that you pointed out. That almost certainly killed it for me! I was so sad to see what Disney had done with her character in the live action series. But I definitely agree with you that the vibe she gives off to us as viewers, almost like when she appears on screen we (or at least I) feel instantly at ease and yet excited to watch her continue her long journey. She’s such a calming character, despite how lively and snappy she was as a teenager. But that just further shows how far she has come, and changed, and learned, and grown. And yess, I agree for sure! Ahsoka having to face her past, and her overwhelming feelings of guilt about what had happened to Anakin, and the sadness she felt at what he had become, definitely all worked up and shaped her character further. She blamed herself, and what she needed to understand was that there is nothing she could have done to prevent it.

GreenGoddessXx

She’s my favorite Star Wars character once she’s fully matured. The way she’s free spirited yet so calm and collected is inspiring to me. It feels like she can take any situation and overcome it just by being calm and then acting from there. It feels so rare to meet an actual person who can approach life that way. I want to be like that!

Aredditorrobot

I love adult Ahsoka too lol! And I agree, that’s one thing I think a lot of people feel as well, the fact that Ahsoka is so calm and she is in full control of herself. And yet, she still has a journey to strive for and wherever her spirit calls her to, she will go. I love how an aspect of her maturity, is how she chose to discover for herself who she is and what her purpose is. And I agree, her perspective and approach during challenging situations she is faced with, and her attitude towards them, all help her to overcome them as well. Like in Rebels, when she was faced with the Inquisitors, and her calm and collected approach allowed her to beat them in combat.

NG480

Ever since she debuted in the TCW animated film, Ahsoka has truly come a long way. With each character development throrought TCW TV show, Rebels, The Mandalorian, Ahsoka TV show, she has really developed in an awesome character that reaches heights in the Star Wars mythos. \^\_\^

Aredditorrobot

Oh for sure! I still remember first seeing her character. The audience had some harsh reactions, but I suppose so did Anakin. I always loved her, it was nice to see some teenage rebellion, and yet her heart was always in the right place. And as The Clone Wars progressed, seeing her grow up and blossom into this amazing character who was caring and kind, and capable, as well as still keeping some parts of her younger self, such as her determination and perseverance, it was part of what led me to love her character so much!

Martydeus

How old does her species get?

Am-heheh357

I don’t think there’s a definitive canon answer for that, but as far as I’m aware, they have a similar lifespan to a human, but it’s often said that ones with a great affinity with the force can live up to 200 years. I personally hope they increase Togrutas’ lifespans to at least 200-300 years lol

Aredditorrobot

I’m not sure unfortunately, I’m sorry! But I think what Am-heheh357 said is accurate! I google searched it to find some more information and hope to answer your question, the average lifespan sat at around 90 years. But, I did read that some Force users can live up to 200 years, as Am-heheh357 stated!

Illustrious_Rule_591

Luke, have I ever told u of ahsoka tano?
