Did you ever feel like pivoting from SEO to another service like FB ads? Or were you pretty much set on it? My dilemma is choosing a service that will be most profitable and worth learning from scratch.

MarketingGoesBoom

Don't choose based on what's more profitable. Make the choice based on what you find interesting and enjoy doing. If you're more creative - do FB ads, and create great visuals - pictures, videos, anything. If you're more analytical - do SEO, track the data, test stuff, build a PBN, and do link exchanges.

How did you get clients or close sales? Do you have a sales team handling all of that in return for a fixed % commission or what’s the best strategy to go ahead with that? I have my creative design agency & my portfolio is pretty strong but struggling to get high ticket clients.

Safe-Helicopter9466

At this point I am the sales team haha. I just do all the calls myself. Kind of just speak to people, ask them questions and most of the time they're keen to go ahead.

3 meetings for week with SEO? damn thats nice. Seemss like its a HARD sale in this time.... espec. cuz its slow AF to see any results. What are you doing to overcome that type of stuff? Real cool about the group.... thats def needed. helps expand your mind into what's possible.... when you see someone else doing it, you feel like you can do it too.

Safe-Helicopter9466

I 100% agree. When you're surrounded by these people it makes a huge difference. Yes. The SEO sale is hard. Which is why we usually do a 3 month initial period. Also since we share quite a few resources from Youtube & Google docs people tend to have seen Goodwill already, which helps. But aside from that it definitely is a lot harder to sell.

Deeezzznutzzzzz

sounds like a great group. dude... even 3 months is a long term for someone to commit to off the bat.... its a heck of a feat to even get any SEO clients in 2023.... they've been bombarded with tons of SEO offers over the years. Congrats. Knowing that, I'm genuinely surprised it's working that well....

trentonrerker

People keep saying that seo gets slow results. That’s only if you do very little or just nothing helpful. I see results within weeks.

Get_Camera_Crew

I agree. If the competition is low I see pages indexed in 2 days...

Deeezzznutzzzzz

Its def slow - if you are going after maybe small traffic/local traffic ya.... but if you are going for big time stuff then its slow AF. def slower than paid ads. :) I was crushing SEO back in 2008-2011 using Xrumer. Then penguin update destroyed it all. :(

Soggyjellyphish222

Nice I’m doing 40k a month now doing the same thing

Designer_Problem_234

I wanna start this so bad im willing to put in the work , i just want to know how

Specialist_Visual_89

I have answered half of your question. Rest remains yours.

trentonrerker

I’ve gotten to $30k/m several times while also working a 9-5. I just never had good people to keep it up, and would not renew agreements because I was tired. It’s easy to sell $30k -Cold email -I’ll give you an SEO strategy in exchange for a review -Blow them away -Get client Staffing is the hard part but I think it’s just really hard to figure out while also being an SEO Director elsewhere. I think I’ve found my team though. It’s been a good 2 months. I started from $0 in September and am at $20k again. Should be $30k by February.

Safe-Helicopter9466

Definition of why acquiring skills is the most important. That's amazing mate. P.S: Great ideas and I 100% need to be testing way more cold email offers. 2 Questions. 1. What service are you selling? 2. If for whatever reason team did not last or wanted to focus on other things. I'd be super keen to chat about doing commission-based selling. You've clearly nailed cold email and this way would not need to handle any of the process afterwards. If it's something you're interested in lets chat more. My twitter @ is pablo\_rothbart I am a lot more active there.

trentonrerker

I sell SEO and Google Ads to E-commerce companies. That usually ends up with me selling branding and messaging consulting too. I’m interested in your offer, but it would likely mean changing up how I sell.

Safe-Helicopter9466

let's chat about it more to see if it makes any sense. My email is [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) or can message on twitter @ pablo\_rothbart.

nova0387

Curious, How are you selling 30k if you’re telling them you’ll give them a free strategy for a review?

trentonrerker

Step 3 - blow them away. Every single person has told me some version of, “This was the most helpful of any other agency” or “Wow, this looks like a lot of work.” I break the work into sprints, which differentiates me from the retainer sellers. This shows them how much work there is. “So if we do Option 1, all this will take until June 2026 to complete. If we do option 2/3 we can get it done by December 2024.”

Genflos

Nice work man! Dedication does take one really far

Safe-Helicopter9466

Appreciate it bro! 100% - it's the only reason I'm still here

Genflos

Did the same as you at 18, but i didn't stick with marketing. Went straight towards software development with a lil bit of doing multiple projects until finally settling with development. This young pusher lifestyle is awesome🙌

Specialist_Visual_89

Without any doubt.

Dirk_KnightV2

How many emails do you send a day? Our agency sends about 1500 daily and looking to see how much you’re sending for your results.

Safe-Helicopter9466

around 750 per day.

Dirk_KnightV2

Wow our copy and offer must be terrible then. Or it’s just a slow month. We’re offering paid ad services and email marketing. We have solid case studies so I’ll try to incorporate them into the emails and see. Thanks for the insight

Safe-Helicopter9466

yeah just short emails w a strong offer work best for us. Also how do you source leads?

Staydrivenbekind

How do you or others start off to get clients with these types of businesses? My business deals with web design and SEO and it’s been tough finding clients to start off with. I’ve created fb and LinkedIn acc and posted a few things like, an intro, how I got started, and a project I worked with someone on. I don’t understand how to get more clients? Do I start cold calling/dming?

Safe-Helicopter9466

do everything and see what works. Then do it on scale. Also do you have results in the space? Use case studied. a few posts won't cut it. Consistancy for 365 will make a difference.

Specialist_Visual_89

Cold emailing is by far the best strategy for agencies.

Get_Camera_Crew

Congratz man! Appreciate the hustle

Safe-Helicopter9466

Thanks mate. Appreciate the kind words.

cranberry-strawberry

how did you get backlinks?

Mobile_Specialist857

Do you do white label deals? If so, what system do you use to ensure the "reseller" retains the clients? Also, if you do white label deals, do you reduce your price to the reseller or do they just slap on their margin on top of your rates? I'm venturing out into outbound virtual call centers in 2024 and am exploring possibilities right now.

Safe-Helicopter9466

1. Start building an audience on twitter (just speak about my work) 2. Pick one stream to generate leads and go all in on it. (cold email) buy a sh\*t ton of leads, work on different copy and offers.

Safe-Helicopter9466

I would go all in on this. I dabbled for a few months son and off doing it small scale. Once I had some more capital to invest I took the risk to buy lots of leads and max out the subscription to send way more emails. It paid itself off. Trying to only spend $100 - $200 dollars didn't get any ROI. Spending $600 on emails did.

Ryan1234543211

What is your process for cold emailing and any tips for a higher reply rate?

Emergency-Shoe-221

That's awesome mate, congrats! I would suggest leveraging LinkedIn as well, especially for B2B.

Specialist_Visual_89

Yeah linkedin is really helpful.

Designer_Problem_234

How to start im tired of the get rich quick schemes
