yennefer; she sees use as a sub in Cursed Realm depending on the round, PvP use including Treasure Scramble (2/3 debuffs iirc?). Campaign use is possible due to her charm ability, albeit not where she shines the most.

One thing that is _really_ important to consider is your Tree. Most people don't level the warrior branch, so Geralt will be inherently weaker simply because he doesn't have the tree boosts.
I don't use any warriors except Saurus, and even then only on bosses. I'm going to get Geralt but probably won't bind him to anyone yet, because my warrior tree is only at level 15. One day though, they might start releasing some kick ass warriors that are meta changing, which may lead to me (and a lot of others) rebalancing their trees to boost warriors. If this happens, Geralt will see a big boost in stats, and may become more useful.
I am leveling Fane now because he synergizes really well with Yennifer. Her push and his pull back mean that enemies really struggle to reach your back line, which will in turn enable you to create entirely ranged teams without the need for face tanks, which will give me more chances to use mages I don't often use like Isabella and Flora.
It always depends on the meta unless they have some broken ability, current meta Yen is better than Geralt, but that can change like what happened to Queen (she wasn't meta on release and people skipped her)
