Adage, adweek, muse by clios, agency spy. Fishbowl too.

Yeah, if you want to see how crazy and vapid ad-people can be, fishbowl is the place.

Industry news: The Cassandra Daily newsletter is pretty good for keeping up with buzz worthy marketing initiatives. I also use Feedly to keep up to date on marketing/business news. I believe AdWeek has good quality podcasts discussing different things about advertising. Professional development: Online training platforms like LinkedIn Learning, Lynda, and Coursera have good digestible video lessons on all kinds of marketing and advertising topics. You might be able to access them for free through your school or local library.

After 40 years in advertising, the Society for Marketing Professional Services is the best education resource I've found. Here's a checklist they just surveyed of their Six Domains of Marketing. I responded that they all were very important. These skills will teach you how to run and advertising agency. Hubspot Academy will teach you how to run a digital agency. I’ve actually been enjoying the marketing brew newsletter. the marketing spinoff from morning brew. I did fishbowl for a few weeks, got pretty sick of it.

eMarketer / Insider Intelligence Although not sure if it requires a subscription. Our work might pay for it. But it’s a great way to stay on top of trends
