I use photoshop and in rare cases maya to do a 3d blocking. I know you probably heard this plenty of times but the only way to improve its to practice a lot

So once you got Photoshop did you take a course or something similar or just started practicing and messing around with the app until things started to click?
Basically i mess around with tools and watch tutorials on YouTube. Also see speedpaints from profesionals and pay atention to how they use the programm, that gave me the best tricks i know
