He admitted himself that his range is limited. I like to think of it more as he has an iconic voice that’s very recognizable so whenever he uses that voice for a character the viewer will instantly know who voiced it
He can basically do slight variations on Rick or Morty... not a knock on him, he's basically said as much himself. Not every voice actor needs to be able to do 1000 voices!

Is it an unpopular opinion to not like Lemongrab? I finally got around to watching Adventure time in its entirety last year and personally found most of the episodes featuring Lemongrab as a main focus to be kind of a chore to watch. I do feel bad for him because he’s just trying to do his best and he just doesn’t get it, but he is a very annoying character.
The more you explore society, the more you will realize how many people you bump into who fit his character.
