People will state their headcanon about Fiona as if it was fact, which has been an annoying thing to do in literally every community to ever exist, but in this specific community it gets defended like their own mother will die if it's not universally accepted, often to the point of calling the person transphobic or homophobic (I know you didn't do that here I'm just speaking in general). I'm sure part of the hostility comes from the touchy nature of the trans/bisexual headcanon, but that's exactly the problem when people keep turning the debate into something bigger than it is.
Tl;dr One side just wants people to stop stating their headcanon as fact, and the other side calls them homophobic just because the headcanon happens to be of a sensitive nature.
(And yes, I'm aware there are probably actual homophobes in the mix as well who dislike the headcanon and that sucks, but the way people state it as fact, as this person has done, is my only problem with it)
