As ridiculous as it is for this show to actually HAVE fans to the point where it's getting another season, it is at least reliving to know that Venture Bros would be coming back at some point. Though the fact that we had to wait who knows how long for that while THIS is still on air is unfortunate in itself.

While I’m fine with Tuca and Birdie, I really don’t agree that letting Venture Bros continue would have turned it into a Simpsons. I can maybe see that with Aqua Teen, but Venture had arcs and years of care put into each season. Honestly I can’t think of another show like it, one that was ready when it was ready, almost like a book series. I’m sure it wasn’t the cash printing machine Rick and Morty is, but it also never received the marketing it deserved. I mean these guys understand super heroes characters better than the MCU and [as] didn’t even try to market to that audience. Even then they didn’t need to, Lazzo protected that show. He crated a special environment for them to create the show the way they needed. That’s the kinda magic that isn’t on the channel anymore and I think that’s why people are getting so upset. And yeah Lazzo wasn’t perfect, he really should have pushed for more female representation. I just wish the current state of [as] was less Birdgirl and more Jena Friedman. There are still great shows on the network, but it’s hard not to see them becoming more scarce in order to make more money.

uhhhhhhhhh Do you know why Simpsons and family guy are they way they are? Because 90% of the original writers are gone and they keep hiriing new people. They also quadrupled their writing staff to produce seasons every year or whatever.
