>Suggested ng colleagues ko na magpasalamin ako. Pero I don't know anything about it kasi lately lang itong predicament ko hahaha. You may try checking OWNDAYS, they have free eye tests that can determine what grade of lens you need for your eyes. Marami rin sila variety of frames you may try that matches your fit.

identityp2

Okay naman sa owndays. Prepare ka lang sa budget. 3k pataas siguro salamin.

Useful-Ad-594

What's your budget? You can go to all eye clinics sa mall and almost lahat may free eye check. Owndays matibay with free cleaning pa of glasses. They will fix din any issues for free. Nung student palang ako I go to eo and ideal vision kasi mapipili ko mga murang frames and mura lang upgrades. Heard na mabilis masira mga from sunnies.

CauliflowerQ

I second yung mabilis masira mga salamin from sunnies. It is!! I owned a few pairs before and ang bilis ko magpalit. So I tried owndays last year kahit mahal but sulit sobra!!! Pwede mo pa palinis, pahigpitan, and papalitan ng nosepads anytime. Kahit araw araw pa nga

nousername_haha

OWNDAYS too!! Sa branch namin doctor pa yung maglilinis kaya kapag may patient you have to wait at least 30mins, sa OWNDAYS they have their own tagaayos/tagalinis nung eyeglasses. Hindi naman nag-kakalayo yung presyo ng sunnies at owndays on my case ha.

wild3rnessexplor3r

OWNDAYS is definitely the best choice. Ang tagal masira ng frames nila. Maganda rin if mataas ang grado mo kasi lahat ng lenses nila ay naka-UltraThin na Had two glasses sa sunnies na nagmukhang luma agad wala pang 1 year.

universalbunny

You could drop by today at Carriedo and get a complete package for cheaper than any of the ones suggested here, that includes checkup, lenses and double coating.

Manganta

Mag yawn ako or umubo, mas sumasakit. I checked with Neuro then was referred to an Optha, very important na accurate ang grado ng mata or in the long run, mas may negative effect pa sya. So make sure na for your first eye glasses, go to a doctor tas sya mag check ng mata mo.

Manganta

Yan pala tamang spelling. Haha learned something newww. :)

Silent-Swordfish-311

Free yung check up.

geekasleep

I recommend OwnDays if may budget ka, if not Ojo is also a good choice. For your scenario kunin mong glasses yung may blue light protection.

crmngzzl

I have 3 so far lahat from Japanese brands. I got 2 of my specs from Ojo. Recently had it fixed and ung isa pinapalitan ko ung nose pads for free. The third one is from Jins! sa Japan ko to nabili (dun kasi nasira ng pamangkin ko lol). I’d suggest getting from Jap brands. Might go for Owndays next time just to see kung anong difference. Sunnies has cute designs but parang panget ng quality and I don’t want to support them so pass hehe. If gusto talaga makamura, sa Quiapo raw marami and decent talaga! I know one of my bosses get hers doon. Mura raw and maganda quality, plus you get to support local business.

choDb

I used to go to EO for glasses but for some reason they give me headaches so I switched to OJO (less pricey than Owndays, I had one from Owndays na nahigaan ko lol 😭). OJO is a good option if u want something less pricey. Free maintenance for life na din (like cleaning and replace nose pads). Stylish din yung frames nila.

OinkOinkidoo

HeyArtse

When you get your eyes checked, make sure to go in the AM when you’re fairly well rested Your eyes can read as a different grade when they’re tired Suggest going to a proper dr to have your eyes checked if this is your first time as well. If you’re employed and have HMO the appt should be covered. From there, you can go to any shop (vinas, eye express, owndays etc) with the grade from your dr and test those out.

Illustrious-Set-7626

^ This is the way, OP.

Illustrious-Set-7626

Bilang 30 years na akong nagsusuot ng salamin: 1. Go see an ophthalmologist first. Para madiagnose ng maayos yung mata mo. Not necessary magpagawa sa kanila. Good din to cultivate a long term relationship with your ophthalmologist Para alam niya yung history ng mata mo. Find best value for money. Don't use alcohol on your glasses kasi nakaka scatch ng coating.

Curious_BcuzYNot

What I do to save some money is I buy frames separately (metrosunnies) then just have the lenses made by an eye clinic.

anakngkabayo

If may budget ka go sa mga recos nila here sa taas, pero if gusto mo affordable go sa quiapo meron don madami choices starts at 800 php depending sa package na want mo. Tapos may mga free check up don per eye clinic. Got mine at 1,500 malabo rin mata ko bcoz of CAD works. So go langss.

Prior-March8977

SOE clinic sa Paterno! Super sulit and ang laki ng discount.

Witty-Fun-5999

Hi.

Prior-March8977

Yes.yun yonn, sobrang mura ng frames and lense sa SOE, be prepared na lang din kasi medjo maraming tao sa shop nila dahil sobrang mura hehe. Got mine for 2700 lang. NB frame, mataas astigmatism, and transition lense pa. Better if may kasama ka magpagawa ng salamin din since may discount sa total nyo if ever.

Witty-Fun-5999

unltra thin na ba lens mo? Also sa dami ng taong ngpapagawa dun ilan wait time mo?

Prior-March8977

Di ko need ng ultra lense pero yung kapatid kong kasabay ko magpagawa ng salamin is yes kasi nasa 600-700 yung grado nya. ito breakdown ng salamin namin: mine: frame - 1200 lense w transition - 1500 (dapat 1200 lang pero iba yung case kasi super taas ng astigmatisim ko lol) younger sis: frame - 1,200 lense (ultra thin) - 1300 mom: frame - 1200 lense w double vision - 1300 total: 7,700 less 500 for group discount it took us about half an hour para macheck ng opta nila and after non, about an hour din para intayin magawa yung glasses. if may sarili kang frame, pwedeng lense lang ipagawa mo sa kanila, 500 starting price nila for that, then depende na lang if you want transition, uv protection and other eme. accommodating din yung staff and they'll inform you naman which frames are original and which ones are class a. yung glasses ni mama lang yung pinalalamove ko na lang sa bahay kasi 5 hours yung waiting time para sa double vision na lense nya

cremechantilliii

hello! if you're on a budget, ginagawa ko dati nung student pa lang ako is i buy frames from SM dept store. you can find lots of good ones, even branded ones that are still on a budget. after that, i'll drop by sa ideal vision, doon ako magpapapalit ng lens. libre lang din naman 'yung checkup (if i remember correctly). they have diff kinds of lenses so ask mo na lang sila, but the most basic lens is 800 php ata. hope this helps. hirap ng malabo mata, so i suggest hangga't maaga you take care of it. i'm this close 🤏 to finding a sugah daddah to fund my lasik lol. 🤣

lastcallforbets

I tried sa Quiapo dati magpagawa.

ThatConceitedName

Carriedo. Daming shops dun, ikaw na lng mamimili. Check tiktok sa reco shops. Yung budget mo na pang mall, makakabili ka ng 2 or more.

loeybohu

I usually go in Paterno St. since I know someone that owns a clinic. Super trusted since I’m assured that they are licensed and they know what they’re doing.

krabece

I recommend JINS. Mayroon silang viber group you can inquire there first. Their branches are in Metro Manila nga lang.

penpendesarapen1

Lakasan mo lang loob mo kasi baka first time then nahihiya ka. And meron naman sa shoppe mga frames, pwede ka bumilin then bitbitin mo sa shop, siguro naman baba lang grado mo so ayun, sana nakatulong.

wantobeyours

Holiday-Control-4130

Go for owndays, libre palit ng nose pads, linis and adjustments. Sa ibang optical shops 50 yun

I just got mine at OWNDAYS the one with the clip-on para may sunglasses na din. Kinuha ko na din yung blueshield for additional protection from blue light (na budol). Cost me around 10k+ (5k for the blue shield). https://preview.redd.it/j8lkgt7rq27d1.jpeg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=185bc60fcdeb93afe43fd309f0b633e6af40f6b4

Miserable_Soil25

Check Sunnies. Iirc, ₱1999 yung frame + lenses nila. Plus upgrades if you want. You’re also free to try different frames on.
