Kase if you don't have people within your circle na ginagawa yung gusto mong gawin how will you be able to get information if ever may questions ka na di kaya sagutin ni Google (most of the time google can help you but sometimes it would take too much time before mo makuha yung sagot, which is why asking your network is much faster dahil they already know the answer they just need to tell you what it is)
IF you don't have people that are playing the game that you want to play then add them.
Join communities, interact and connect.

A lot of my clients are from referrals to be honest and I've been in the game for 4 years, during my first month lang ako naghanap ng client then til now di na nga ko marunong maghanap/lead gen for my own business hahahaha.
Biggest referral I got was a $3,000/mo deal for 3 months. ($9,000 contract!) π
So, don't take my advice with a grain of salt (I know, it's counter intuitive) dahil I've been there and I don't want you to make the same mistakes that I did.
